Been curious about this place and decided to try it one night. The staff were friendly and attentive. But no food was a standout for me. Willing to give them another shot. Hope they have a wider range of options

Sometimes you just want to try something other than the ubiquitous ramen places. Enter TaiOne Taiwanese noodles. I especially love the curry beef noodles and steamed shrimp and pork dumplings.

As an added bonus, they sell Taiwanese bakery breads too.

Pretty good. Is there such a thing as too much flavor? Usually for me, not so but this place is someting else. Its like everything is broiled with soy sauce. Still, everything was delicious and the service was also fast.

What we ordered:  beef brisket noodle, beef teppan, chicken steak, tong po pork, steamed fish w/ soybean crisp, oyster omelette, panfried pork dumplings, shrimp with egg fried rice, vegetable congee
Loved the oyster omelette, the shrimp fried rice, tong po pork and the vegetable congee.  The congee was supposedly for my mom who was watching her salt intake, but it was so delicious that we ordered another bowl for sharing.
The beef brisket noodle had a slightly sweet flavor that was off-putting.  I like my beef noodle soup savory, not sweet.  The chicken steak was so-so.  I was the only one who liked the steamed fish.
The brewed coffee was amazing.
Overall, good flavors, good value, will definitely go back!

I liked everything they served and the authenticity of their Hofan dish. I still want to go back and try their other dishes. I just wished their venue would have more space.

Decent reasonably priced food. Seemed family run that 1st time I was there. Great that they block off part of the street parking for their customers

This place was a pleasant surprise...walked in on a slow day for lunch and found a comfortable, bright and tidy dining area with very pleasant and attentive staff. Reasonably extensive menu ensures there's something that will catch your fancy...basically a Taiwanese beef noodle soup but there is so much more to this place. A quick scan of the menu shows traditional favorites like 3 Cup Chicken (excellent) and Tung Po Pork (amazing) are offered along side Fried Kimchi Pork Dumplings (tasty) and Beef Curry Noodle Soup (very satisfying). Every dish looked moutwatering as they came out of the kitchen and you will realize that they taste even better! Fresh, well cooked, balanced flavours, fair portions and reasonable value (average of 250 pesos per dish). A pleasant surprise, this place quickly climbed up to the top of my list of favorites. Can't wait to go back soon.

It was unexpected. Had a late night dinner at this place. Ordered braised pork rice, beef teppan and tofu. I don't know if I was hungry or the food was good. The beef was very tender. The tofu was good. The braised pork is a signature Taiwanese dish.

Had Sunday lunch here with my family and it was enjoyable. Really reminded me of the Taiwanese food in Taiwan itself. The beauty of the cuisine is that the overall style is homecooking that brings with it the warmth and familiarity of homecooking. One of the key factors of my enjoying it could possibly be the fact that I actually have been to Taiwan and have a reliable expectation not to compare this cuisine to Chinese or whatever.

We ordered the rice toppings, noodles, sizzling tofu, congee, and the dumplings - photos are posted also. We got their hot tea for the drinks, fruit tea and rosehip tea specifically and they were aromatic and lovely.

The food was delicious, the tastes were distinct and crisp. I enjoyed the rice topping (forgot the actual name but it's the one topped with meat in one of the displayed pictures), as the taste was wonderfully mixed with the rice. The sizzling tofu was a delightful surprise as they were able to cook it with the sauce being able to penetrate inside the tofu. One of the things I am wary of when eating tofu is the bland and tasteless center but they were able to avoid that somehow. Possibly with thinner slices that reduces the tasteless part. They even gave the tofu a crisp or crunch when biting its exterior, which I absolutely love.

Worth going, will go back! Good service too, attentive staff. You'll just have to know what to order as some items in their menu is good but not especially noteworthy.
