this place is good for a barkada or family treat because at 1500php, you’ll not only get satisfied but you’ll get your money’s worth as well! though we didnt take advantage of the group meal because we’re just 3pax, fajah got the chicken inasal- for him it was okay, it lacked to really make an impact on his taste buds, but it wasnt bad. the free batchoy soup was okay too, wasnt piping hot but it was good, they disnt crimp on the chicharones. my order took a whhhiiillle to be served, bout 20mins, but when the squid sisig came out- omg! it was soooper delish!!! i was surprised to see that the minced squid was fried to imitate the texture of the pork sisig itself and once it hit mouth together w/ the caramelized onions, i fell in love. lunch time even on weekends are crowded!! so come in at least 30mins before to ensure getting served earlier than usual.
I just had lunch here and I was surprised at how great the food was. I'm ranking their chicken Inasal as third best to Chicken Bacolod House in Intramuros and Oks Manoks in Pioneer. Well marinated but tangy and a little on the dry side. Their pork barbecue was just yummy. The meat was tender and lean and the sauce was sweet. Their molo soup was okay, a little bit on the salty / msg side.
This is my second time dining here. The first time I just had dessert, halo-halo and mais con yelo if my memory serves me right. It was good but nothing unique.
It's a typical Filipino restaurant that does live up to the Filipino palette. This time we had the kare-kare laman which was really really good. It serves just enough for me and my companion.
The ambience was okay, showcasing wooden tables, some couches. The place was clean.
The only downside may be the price. It is kind of expensive for food that you can cook in a typical Filipino household for a lot cheaper price and bigger serving.
