This combination of Mexican and Korean cuisines works really well. Everything tastes freshly made and everything I've tried so far has been really good. I love the signature Vatos burrito, which adds kimchee and french fries (!!!) to the standard ingredients. It may sound strange but it's seriously good and definitely different from all of the other Mexican places I've tried in Manila. Their lunch sets are one of the best values in this part of BGC, you get a ton of food in a really nicely designed restaurant. This is going to be one of my regular lunch spots now.
(Full disclosure - I've eaten here three times. I've enjoyed the food each time but on my second visit, the service was quite unprofessional and I posted a bad review. The manager contacted me and offered a free meal if I would give it another chance.)
Cool place to eat tacos and drink beers and margaritas. There's a relaxed vibe that's pleasant to have a conversation with friends as the music is not obstrusive, unlike a lot of establishments in Manila.
As an LA native, I can truly say this is what Mexican food with an elevated twist tastes like.

Vatos Urban Tacos is a Korean - Mexican Restaurant known for its unique menu that includes a hodgepodge of tacos, nachos, burritos, burgers and quesadillas.


Vatos Cowboy Queso (P 390) was served warm, spicy sweet, crunchy and spicy! The savory mix of melted Pepper Jack and cheddar cheese is divine! And under its gooey melted texture, is a surprise layer made of black beans, jalapeños, pico de gallo etc. Best to dig in with the nachos while the queso is still warm!
Vatos serves Korean-inspired tacos like Wagyu Galbi Short Rib ( P560/two tacos, P830/three tacos) and the Korean Belly Taco (P 290/two tacos, P 430/three tacos).
While the Korean Pork Belly Taco was simply served with pickled onion toppings, it tasted superb! The flavors of the pork did came through.

Honey Tequila Chicken Wings (P420) are Korean-style fried chicken wings glazed in sweet-and-spicy honey tequila sauce. It comes in spicy with deep-fried jalapeños included in each basket serving.

They also offer customized rice bowls. You get to choose rice flavor; succulent meat toppings (wagyu galbi, bacon slabs, tender beef strips / pork / chicken)wagyu galbi, bacon slabs, tender beef strips / pork / chicken); egg style (over easy, marbled, scrambled, sunny side up); vegetables (coleslaw, mushrooms, pico de gallo, kimchi, pickled vegetables); and condiment preferences. Settled amongst the string of great restaurants along the Net Park building on the ground floor is this gem of a restaurant offering decent Mexican style cuisine.
Having tried the entire taco menu and frequenting the various burritos Vatos can be considered a great casual lunch or dinner spot to eat alone for a quick bite or with friends and family.
Tacos meet a fairly high standard with any taco on the menu being a standout in terms of flavor and quality. Size is a non issue as servings are more than adequate for the biggest appetite.
One of the main factors this restaurant offers in no short supply is service. Its fast, pleasant and often an extension to always please.

The ambiance of the place is really nice especially since we're the only people who were there by that time. The interiors are also great! However, their food is quite pricey. Their tacos are different from the expected, but they are surprisingly okay. Moreover, I personally don't appreciate their nachos.
I love Vatos, especially their Taco Tuesday promo. Make sure to be there before 7pm to also avail of their happy hour promo. We only had Tacos and Drinks. The have a good variety of tacos and all are yummy. Their drinks are pricey but worth it. The staff are friendly and answer all your questions politely. My only concern was that since the place was crowded, it became very humid inside the resto.

Really love their chicken wings, tacos, & quesadillas! We also tried their Buy 1, Get 1 on drinks and it was worth it!
The place is quite big for any celebration (can accomodate at least 50pax inside, and they also have outside tables). You should also avail your 2+2 on drinks privilege if you are a Zomato Gold user here 😁
Zomato gold for drinks is worth it, especially if you're 4 because the serving size of their drinks is really huge. One drink per person is absolutely just right. I've dined here before and their Tacos are so good, a fusión of Mexican and Korean, tangy and sweet flavors really balance well.
Discovered this through a friend who works in the building. I have tried every single taco they have, and my favorite will always be the fish one! My parents loved the food too!
