Filipino Banh Mi? Yes please. The Juanh Mi special Banh Mi is delicious and authentic to both cultures it draws inspiration from. A substantial meal on its own but light and not too heavy either. The Pares Bun is also a must try. It's a fusion concept that I could see easily translating across the globe.

Juanh Mi is a good fusion of Vietnamese and Filipino cuisine.

We had Pares Banh Mi. Pricey at over php 400 but quite a large serving. Black Angus Beef brisket on French bread with tasty mayo. Came with rainbow chips.

Traditional Pho Bo was also large with good quality beef brisket and meatballs in a tasty pho soup.

The coconut ice cream sandwich was very yummy.

For beverage, we had coconut water and stromg vietnamese coffee

We just finished watching Ready Player One and we decided to try Juanh Mi. It was almost their closing time but the staff still welcomed us. It was our first time there and we weren't expecting the prices to be higher than your average banh mi sandwich. But we were impressed just by reading their menu because everything seemed to be a delightful fusion of Filipino and Vietnamese, my mouth was drooling just by reading the ingredients. The staff were busy fixing or preparing the shop for closing that was understandable but it would've been nice if someone recommended this or that for first-timers like us. The charming bearded man (I think his name was Franco) was more than happy to take our orders though and did not complain when we asked for the sandwich to be cut in half. And it was a smart choice because the banh mi was huge. The price is a bit expensive for a sandwich but at 400 this fed 2 of us already plus it's packed with a lot of quality ingredients and there's even a generous helping of cassava chips.
We got Juanh Mi's signature banh mi and tried their spring rolls too. The pork bone broth was a good partner to the bread because you can dip the bread in it to make it softer to chew. The spring rolls came with a peanut sauce but is also good paired with their sriracha and skinny soy sauce (mix these 2..it's good).
Would I come back? Yes because I'd like to try their pho. :)

This restaurant is new.. I’ve been waiting for this since I am a fan of Vietnamese Cuisine. However, the type of food selection was Vietnamese- with Filipino fusion. They have Bulalo Pho which I am curious about.. since I am craving for authentic Pho from Vietnam. I ordered the Traditional Pho Php 460. I cannot consider as good for 2. But it depends with the consumer. One thing that I was amazed was, they have the Vietnamese bread which is the sides of a Pho. You can only see that in Vietnam. It may not be authentic bread, but you will feel that you are in Vietnam already. I am wondering why Pho in the Philippines is so expensive, which in Vietnam is only Php 67 coverted from 30,000 Vietnam Dong.

Anyway, overall experience is Good! Will definitely comeback when I visit Greenhills soon!

A multi-colored grain bowl that was both nourishing and satisfying! The two main sources of protein were kikiam and kare-kare, which was tender ox tripe in peanut sauce.

I never thought that a Filipino dish like kare-kare could work so well in Vietnamese cuisine. The dish I ordered was a wonderful fusion of flavors from the Philippines and Vietnam. It was a hefty serving, but I wiped my bowl clean because of how delicious it was! Order the Banh Mi version of this dish, if you want to try it in sandwich form.

I will surely be back to try the rest of the items on their menu!

Worth a try! The newest restau you can find in Greenhills. Juanh Mi offers Vietnamese food that has a touch of Filipino taste.

We ordered the following:
Banh Mi Pares (Black Angus) -recommended as one of their best sellers

Grain Bowls:
Adobo 2 Ways
Dinuguan Sausage
Balbacua
-the most palatable for me is their Adobo 2 Ways.

Sides:
Tea Eggs
Hot Bone Broth
Pinsec Frito

Dessert:
Specialty Ice Cream Sandwich
-tasted like frozen sweetened coconut milk with dessicated coconut. Did not expect this would taste great!

Some thing new in Greenhills. They offer Vietnamese cuisine with Filipino twist. They had this lunch all-day, everyday option choose from Bahn Mi, Bun Salad and Grain Bowls. We got the last one:

Pato Tim (Php 375)
Pork Belly and Meatball (Php 325)

It includes sides (papaya salad, pinsec frito, hot bone broth, tea eggs and water spinach with shrimp paste) and a choice of their selected rice. We got pinsec frito aka fried dumpling and brown rice. The serving was pretty generous. It was filled with veggies and huge servings of viand. Ready to splurge though cause the prices on their menu are pretty expensive but we didn’t since it was worth our money.

Tried their traditional pho bo with meatballs, their soup smells good, tastes delicious, try it with the additional beef. Generous serving, maybe good for two. Green tea lemon grass iced tea, also good! For their vietnamese fiesta rolls, they could do better.. but i like their peanut sauce for it, hint of chili. Mild spicy 🤤 the server, jason was really nice and very accommodating.
