After almost 3 months of Community quarantine, finally had a zip of my favorite Nathaniel's Buko Pandan! A must try!
Anyone in the neighborhood knows this place where you can get pasalubongs for loved ones, as well as packed goodies to share for potlucks.
We love their chicharon, though it's a bit pricey for P180, we still splurge on it coz it's yummy! Also on the top of our list here is their BUKO PANDAN and their puto pao-- perfect for pasalubongs!
For their food, we like their pork bbq and their lasagna. 😊
I recently came from a trip from Subic, Zambales with my teammates. On the way back, it's common for many to stop by Nathaniel's at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
We did. I bought some stuff, but it wasn't enough! I barely had some for myself as others ate it. The craves weren't satisfied at all. I was craving for more than I originally was.
No question--Nathaniel's has the BEST puto paos, chicken pies and kutsintas in town. I couldn't even wait to get back to the office, that I was eating them in my Grab 😅😋😂. Heck, I didn't even bother heating them when I did get back. It was room temperature, but I am 100% sure that I would've even eaten it cold.
They are truly generous with their toppings and stuffings. The salted egg was occupying the entired top. Where else can you see that on a puto?
Food: 5.0 - Always loved their pasalubongs!
Price: 5.0 - Very affordable! Top notch quality!
Service: 4.0 - Quick and friendly, but smiles maybe needed.
Ambience: 4.0 - Clean, cool and very minimalist. The food just speaks for itself.
I wish they would open a branch in Makati. Then again, it's worth the trip.
The buko pandan is now available at selected supermarkets across the Metro but if you see yourself in a Nathaniel's Bakeshop don't forget to try their Buko Pandan Juice (55pesos per bottle). The sweet buko paired with the leafy pandan is a great summer thirst quencher. Recommended to pair with their Puto Pao among other goodies.
SO and I had lunch here, and their service was really fast and servers were really courteous. We had pork bbq, siomai, fresh lumpia and grilled liempo - all served in 10 minutes (or even less)!
My go to when I’m craving Buko Pandan Salad. Their version is not overly sweet. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and it’s a perfect treat anytime of the day.

Nataniel's is basically a bakeshop on its facade even upon entering you'll see cakes and pastry products. We got here by accident. It is traffic along P.Guevarra and we walked and tried to find a decent place to eat and wait for the traffic to subside. The first resto we saw is a waffle joint which we are not into that during the moment so we crossed the street and the next thing we knew we were inside Nathaniel's. To our surprise, there are posters of their menu advertising their Pastas, filipino meriendas and traditional dishes like dinuguan and bulalo. Initially I wanted to order either Bulalo or Dinuguan or Lomi while my partner wanted Palabok which she really pushed. I opted to order their "must try" Lasagna because I'm skipping rice during night time. When our orders came, we both started to taste the Palabok which is surprisingly good! Not just the ordinary, you can really taste the balance of the ingredients and not a single one overpowers the other. What we didn't know is how good the Lasagna is. It's a bakeshop, it's a bonus to have a jawdropping Palabok but a Lasagna standing-out a joint from Central Luzon? Impossible? No, it is possible and it doesn't just make us awe but this instantly became my best lasagna, sorry Banapple and Greenwich but this one is really really good! With this, we will be coming back here next week and will update this review. I left 1 point here and just rated it 4/5 because I'm expecting Nathaniel's will surprise us more on our return.

Their best sellers are Pancit Palabok and Buko Pandan Salad but I never knew their Beef Caldereta would be so good til I tried it. Their Buko Pandan drink is also very refreshing and is sometimes Icey. *Ahhhh*
Their dine-in menu items were fine but nothing exceptional (just me). What we like are their chicharon with laman (spicy or not), assorted pastries and their buko pandan bottled juice. The chicharon and the pastries are good giveaways (our alternative to fruitcakes during the holidays).
Great go to spot for those meals you just don't want to think about what you want to eat, just sit down, get welcomed by great staff and served quickly with quality unique flavored food!
