Service was great, the staff who attended our table was friendly and quick. Paella negra was amazeballs. The glass of sangria was good value for money.
Ordered the usual: Sangria, Paella and Salad. Food quality is consistent. They are generous with the seafood and meat they put in their paella. My favorite is their goat cheese ensalada (forgot the exact name), they really put in a huge block of creamy goat cheese in the middle. Great ambiance for a family dinner. Don't know what they say around here about the staff being impolite but when we ate, the servers were really nice and constantly checked up on us. I engaged the waitress who sliced the jamon and asked some questions, she ended up giving us some to taste!
Barcino is considered as one of the best Spanish restos in Metro Manila. And I can honestly say that it lives up to its reputation. Food is great. The ambiance of the place is good for celebrations. Note: The place is understaffed. Meaning = they cannot accommodate you immediately. The waiters should work on smiling when serving and assisting. It would make yourself seem approachable when taking orders. Plus, the experience would be a 5 if the interaction was enjoyable. Because I don't think people go back to a place just for the food and ambiance.
This place is immaculate! I love the ambiance and ofcourse their food. :) We ordered Croquetas de Chorizo, Ensalada de Queso Cabra, Paella Marisco and Pulpo con Crema. All we ordered were superb. The croquetos has a creamy taste, the goat cheese in the salad complimented the greens, the paella was flavorful and the octopus was soft and tender, cooked to perfection.
The price is really expensive, but the quality of the food says it all. Worth every peso I must say..
I'd like to give them a 5 star but their staff could be more polite. But all in all.. I'd still come back and try other dishes.

Service was really good! I was a bit disappointed that my four favorite wines were not available, but I can understand because they are best-sellers. I recommend the Jamon Serrano and Patatas Bravas alongside the Finca Constancia 23. The churros are light and a great way to cap the meal.
Billing out took longer than expected. But other than this, good food and service. They were very attentive. Will come back for the wine and cheese.
One of the few places that offer an authentic paella. Paella is supposed to have a toasted bottom -- yung tutong -- called the soccarat. The taste was great. Very very sulit with zomato gold. Bring a friend and you won't regret it!

Barcino has been considered as a “classic” Spanish restaurant for a long time now. I couldn’t help but agree.

Overall Experince:
All the dishes tasted great but our favorites were the Paella Negra and Pulpo. Accompanied by their Sangria Tinto of course. As the best seller, the paella didn’t disappoint. The serving had lots of squid rings which was enough to fill our hungry stomachs. At first, I was quite hesitant to order the octopus because I was expecting it to be difficult to chew. Surprisingly, the octopus was so soft and had an excellent texture. This is something I’m looking forward to try again someday. Finally, the servers were also super attentive and kind to accommodate our request for the paella to have the socarrat (tutong). I really recommend visiting this branch.
