Beef Tendon Pares was so good! BF loved the Sizzling Beef Tendon Pares. We will revisit for sure. Parking is very limited, only 2 spaces are available. You can park at nearby sidestreets at your own risk. (If they had better parking, 5 stars.)
A bit pricey compared to other gotohan and pares places but the food is very good. The goto is delicious, the pares is decent. Good late night eat.
This branch is awesome and one of the go to ‘after inuman’ diner. I saw this branch and franchise adapt from being a over the counter restaurant to a table order restaurant. Amenities were efficiently situated without compromising space. A very comfy place to eat and enjoy good food. I do suggest one staff to traffic people in the stairs since it is so narrow. One of the best comfort food in metro manila

The goto tendon was just right. I like the amount of chicharon placed on top and how the goto wasn't runny. Feels good to eat when you're sick. Also, try the kape con niyebe if you like shaved ice desserts. 👌
This place was suggested to us last year and this is the only time we were able to visit. Upon entering, all the staff were very attentive, friendly and polite. They served soup and water even though we weren’t ordering yet. It was goto tendon, served with separate chicharon bits (definitely a good thing!) & tokwa for the boyfriend, and sizzling beef tendon pares for me. Their beef is cooked really good. Really soft and tender. And the tendon is just so perfect. I rarely eat collagen and fats because I hate the texture but I was able to finish the tendons on my order and on my bf’s order since he doesn’t eat beef. Overall experience, it’s a 5 over 5 for a first timer. We were just there admiring how simple yet sophisticated the actual restaurant is while enjoying our late lunch. Will definitely come back.

kaso it will take too much of your time lining up, and then more of your time again looking/waiting for a table to eat. medyo exhausting yun pagiintay almost an hour from the time na pumila, magintay ng table at intayin yung food. kaya sayang nmn yung 1 star.

Would you believe that Tomas Morato’s newest gotohan and paresan came about partly out of boredom?. As the story goes, Jenny Penaloza was feeling bored having given up her career to become a full-time mom. Her husband John then suggested making a business out of her culinary specialty: the goto.
I decided to bring my friends here for dinner on a monday. I thought there will be less people but I was wrong. Order taking was just fast but waiting for a table took a long time. I'm giving this branch same rating because the taste and quality of food is the same with their Manda branch. We ordered Beef Tendon Pares, Beef Tendon Pares Noodles, Pork Liempo, Lumpiang Gulay at Sisig, Tokwa't Baboy and Ube Cheese con Niyebe. I really like the beef because its so tender and tasty. The egg noodles is a good alternative to garlic rice. I got to taste a piece of the liempo too and it was cooked perfectly. I like that its still crispy I liked the lumpiang sisig because its cruncy on the outside and meaty and fatty inside. The tokwa't baboy was just right.
Next visit will try their goto.
