For its price, it's really worth it. Food is yummy, it's affordable and accessible to me.
Their place on this branch is a bit small, so I only do take-outs or deliver via GrabFood.
I've already ordered the 80pcs of sushi from them 3 times already, and every transaction has been smooth so far. All I need to do is call this branch, order and set a pick up time :)
I do hope they'll provide plastic or paper bags for the 80pcs order though, since they just put it in the food box and you'll have to carry it that way.
I suggest you bring your own bag if you'll order it.
Overall, great place to go to for affordable food when you have sudden cravings. Obviously, we'll come back for more 😊
I can’t count how many days and nights, I craved for Japanese food. It’s simply not that accessible. Young couple, Miguel Librojo and Kelly Parreno understood this dilemma and made it a business. Ta Ke Me Ho Me now operates 10 stalls, a one-stop shop for take-away of sushi, maki and freshly cut sashimi.
On this invite, which took place in Ta Ke Ho Me’s latest location, me and other bloggers learned beyond their products. We also got our hands busy as they taught as how to make our own sushi.
First task was building up the Migori, named after Miguel. I went slowly but surely, from Japanese rice on nori, cucumber to salmon bits, and then mayo for extra flavor. The rolling came right after using a sushi mat, tough but winged it! The last stretches were most rewarding, torching the additional salmon on top.
Some media friends put together California Maki as well, a familiar sushi made up dominantly sweet ingredients. It has kani sticks, fresh mangoes and roe.
After the workshop came Ta Ke Ho Me’s best selling items for us to try. One of them was everyone’s favorite, the Bacon Bomb. It is a mind-blowing deep fried sushi wrapped in crispy bacon!
Every Ta Ke Me Ho Me Sushi product is made with only the best quality ingredients, making it a bang for your buck, and a sure hit in your next soiree.
“We at Ta Ke Me Ho Me Sushi believe that great Japanese food need not be expensive,” Librojo mused.
Ta Ke Me Ho Me embraces value for money with their lowest bundle at Php 99 for a box of 8pcs. For bigger groups and to satisfy more tummies, they also offer sharing boxes that come in 24pcs., 40 pcs., and 80 pcs. They have catering too!
Looking for an affordable yet yummy sushi? Give this a try!
I’ve tried 3 flavors. 24 pcs for only 295!
My rate on every flavor (1 is the lowest, 5 is the highest):
TKHM Roll 5/5
Cordon Bleu 3/5
Spicy Tuna 3/5
So sad the Migori and California Maki are not available today. I’d definitely go back and try them.🥢
