I recommend celebrating your birthday here at Kpub Trinoma. I was clueless on what we need to do about the menu and all, but they made it easy for me. Their food is affordable and yummy and to top it all up, very very very friendly and accommodating sila, Lahat sulit! Thank you again for making my birthday extra special
We enjoyed their food and the ambience of the place is very nice. We will definitely visit the place again
Great food and great service!! Fave kbbq of all time
What we had:
2 Hours Unlimited 7 Meat Special (699)
What we liked:
The fact that there is no one lining up here, their grill is convenient, the side dishes are abundant, and the meat is of premium quality makes it worth going to, compared to the local samgyupsal joints around the city.
It was good, like any other kbbq place. It was noisy though, and the wait staff don't really take note of your requests (i.e. refill of water).
Been here a couple of times . The place is dim but the music is good. If you love k pop and a band playing its a good place to go. The food is ok , the variations of meat and side dishes are good too. The staff is attentive and reordering is ok.
Spent Father's Day here and we enjoyed it a lot! Good food and excellent service! The staff will greet you with all smiles on their faces. Not to mention I enjoyed jamming to their kpop songs and music videos (you can request songs and music videos to their dj). They also provided special programs for Father's Day, making the vibe joyful and festive for the customers to enjoy. The price is quite expensive though; they could've atleast provided buffet for korean snacks and desserts too.
K-Pub's great. The meat, the side dishes, the kpop videos, it's always a good time. My friends and I usually go for the 1 hour deal, and you can do a lotta damage in an hour.
We ask for all the meats, but the best ones for us, hands down, are the beef sukiyaki and korean bacon. Literally cannot get enough. We always end up fighting over them even though they're unlimited for an hour. It's great that you can grill them to your liking. I like them softer while ny friends like them a bit singed.
All the side dishes are great, too. K-Pub was doing something a little different this time around. It was sort of a buffet style thing so instead of always calling someone for a refill of tofu or kimchi, you could just go there yourself and get as much as you want. They even had spicy ricecakes! I like it this way. It's way easier than waiting for refills.
Speaking of waiting...service is really slow. Don't get me wrong. The servers were all really nice. Always had smiles on their faces. It's just that it takes a really long time to get anything you ask for. It's a problem when they take forever to serve the meat and there's a 1 hour time limit. It's not just food, either. We waited so long for just glasses of water. We had to ask 3 times before we finally got some water. I would get it if it was a busy night, but it didn't start out with that many people, it was a buffet style thing going on, and service was still slow.
Overall, it was a good dinner. This place gets a good rating for me. If you're into korean food and kpop then this is the place for you.
Great place to hang out with great friends on any day of the week. Good food and good location for an acceptable price. I just hope they could do something about their grills. It takes FOREVER to cook the meats. 😑 Dont forget to claim your melona ice cream by the way after eating 😁
It has been our tradition as friends to dine here as our year-ender celebration. We usually order the unlimited refill for one hour. Though it was only for one hour, it's still soo worth it. Most of the side dishes are good. They also have the salad on their side dishes haha. Plus, you'll really feel like you're in korea with the kpop videos flashing in the screen. We wait for the band to start and sometimes join them. Haha. Dining here is a fun experience.
READ EDITS BELOW. Went here couple of times after because of few invitations from friends
I’ve been here several times, and I’ve been holding up my review because I want to see their consistency with their service at each visit with different number of people, my visit tonight made me decide to add my review..
⚡️ for the place. The place is huge enough to cater a lot of people, have an open mic, and still won’t give you that “crowded” vibe. What made give it 0.5 Star for this criteria is because they try to fit max of 6 people in one table with one small grill. I went with couple of friends, and we saw that they were trying to put us in a table that is supposed to be only for 4 person, when there is 5 of us. So I politely asked to have a different table arranged for us. Just imagine 5 people ordering 5 unlimited dishes and meat?
0.5 ⭐️ for the food. I noticed through out all my visit, they will try to give you much less meat as possible. On my first visit, Mostly I’m with someone. What they do is they will ask you what meat would you like and they will serve ONE plate of each, instead of how many you are. Say, there’s two of us they will serve the meat one platter at a time instead of two. It’s a waste of time to keep calling one of their staff considering you only have 1 hour.
With our visit tonight, there were 5 of us but they only initially served us only good for 2 people, we are starting to get pissed as to why it looks like they’re trying to give us less than to what we were actually paying. So we asked to serve meat good for 5 people since that’s what we are paying. Then we politely asked to open the other grill on our table considering there’s 5 of us and the meat you can cook on 1 grill is good for 1-2 person. I suppose that’s their strategy, you cook less meat, more money to them. At first they were hesitant but we insisted. Our 1 hour is running out, and we have yet to have eaten anything decent. Your meal includes Jap Chae and Pizza, they will not offer it to you unless you ask for it, so read the menu carefully. Considering that we’re the only one left eating, the service was kind of sloppy, and slow, and one staff was not even happy serving us. Our night is starting to get sour.
EDITS: 🌟🌟 for the food. They now ask you what meat you’d like to order first, and they serve all the included dishes on your chosen meal package when you get on your table that is included
🌟 for the staff, our experience tonight was made better by Angel she was tending to our needs during the last part of our dinner, she was just smiling and happy. If it weren’t for her, this would have been ZERO star. We even have to request for their wifi password 3x from 3 different staff. Have to ask for our rice refill thrice. Had to ask for 5 person meat instead of 2 person meat twice.
EDIT: Their staff is now very organised and still courteous
⚡️ for the price. You don’t really get what you’re are paying for.
EDIT: 🌟 for the price, with all the improvements from my last visit, I can say this one is worth the money.
EDIT:
They are a lot of Korean grill out there, definitely, Samgyupsalamat still serves the best meat. But when it comes to the place, ambience, and kind of service, K-pub does it better than any other Korean I have been to. I like the idea of live bands. Sort of giving the place a mix of Filipino and Korean Culture.
We chose the 599 unlimited meat for an hour. The trick is to choose thin sliced meats so that it is easier to cook. We ordered the bacon, the spicy pork, beef sukiyaki, soy chicken and the spicy chicken. Everything is refillable including the soup, rice and side dishes. Free Melona Popsicles upon settling the bill. They charge P150 per plate for leftovers. We were so full and we can't hardly walk after dinner. Overall dining experience is superb. Although a bit more expensive than most Korean BBQ restaurants.
