Dampa paluto style dining in a mall? Yes, you read that right! Get the freshest catch in Seafood and Ribs Warehouse (SaRW).
Ranging from fish, shellfish, to meat specialties hailing from Cebu, this resto is one of a kind as they are the first to use the "paluto style" dining in malls.
Choose your seafood and have it cooked into your desired dish. Oh, did I mention that there's no cooking fee? Awesome, right?
Seafood and Ribs Warehouse also offers a lunch special called HALA BIRA! which can only be availed from Mondays to Thursday that's good for 3-4 persons (in my opinion it's good for 5 people) for only 995 php. It's like a boodle fight platter for the barkada.
SaRW recently launched a mini version of the Hala Bira. If you're a duo or a couple who loves seafood and meat, you should definitely try this out.
Btw the crew has this performance before serving the Hala Bira so don't get shocked.
We had trouble finishing the rice since there was only three of us who ate the whole Hala Bira but we immensely enjoyed the dishes and the experience.
I'll come back with my family to try the other items on their menu and to see their reactions when they witness the Hala Bira performance.

We ate here few months ago. The first time we tried eating here we had a great time and of course it is our first time so we just enjoyed the food and also the food was great and we satisfied with our seafood cravings. But unfortunately, for the 2nd time we went here, the prices are high, small portions of what we ordered for the first time and lessen the food we ordered, but when we received our bill, we are shocked that the price is so high compared to our first bill which is we ordered a lot.
The good side here is that you can choose the meat or variants you want and then they will cook them for you and all is fresh and also you can eat your food fresh from the pan or stove literally.
The downside here is that, you cant be able to see the grams if they are weighing in, and we think they are deceiving us and overpricing. We cant tell or we cant be able to check if there measurement or price is okay.
Some staffs are no accommodating.
But mostly the food is okay and yummy. You can try so you can be able to taste their food and share your experience. For the food there is no problem, the food is yummy!
Boyfriend and I dined here for the first time just this afternoon to have some lunch and decided to have sinigang na salmon (his favorite) and butter garlic shrimp (my favorite). We never regretted that we tried to dine here! I like the sourness of the sinigang and the freshness of the veggies and salmon as well. As for the butter garlic shrimp... Its heavenly! It is so delicious and I like the way it was cooked with some kind of sweetness. Definitely will come back again!
Though they didn't have crabs that night, my craving for seafood was satisfied. We had butter garlic shrimp, halaan ginger soup, and baked oysters. Mom also had American ribs. The food was good but we were distracted by the furniture. The table wasn't flat which made it hard to slice food. I'm fine with the wooden benches, but would appreciate a back rest too.
Because of the paluto concept, I immediately assumed this place would be pricey. Finally decided to try it after reading positive reviews. It is indeed expensive as compared to a regular resto. At the time we went there, the prices did not indicate that it is per 100g. (Although when you look at the pics posted here, it was indicated naman) Also, I wasn't asked how many grams I would prefer, only if for how many persons. I did not mind it naman and just trusted the staff taking the order.
Anyways, their food were delicious! I loved their Garlic Butter Shrimp and their Marinated Liempo. The sweet and sour Lapu Lapu is a bit "malansa" for me. But overall, I would still recommend this place.
It’s our first time and the whole family loves the place. And you know how fresh and well-cooked the food will be. The food was delicious, especially the Crispy Pata. It was really good and full of flavor. Staff was very accommodating. This place is highly recommended if you have Balikbayan visitors.
If you are a seafood fan, then you must not hesitate to try Seafood and ribs Warehouse. And since it is our first time to try, we opted to try their Hala-Bira Group Set! It consists of tahong, talaba, tilapia, longganisa, chicken pecho, steamed shrimp and fruits! But what stood out for me was the Adobo Scallops that is in their mini kawali! It is so good that I want to request for more rice! 😋
.
It was a nice experience dining here, but you need patience in waiting! At least 25 minutes was their waiting time since everything is cook to order! .

(F)ood:
For those who love a big surf-and-turf, we suggest the SEAFOOD AND RIBS WAREHOUSE at the NORTH TOWERS of the SM CITY NORTH EDSA. Dampa feels? Your family will not be disappointed with having the best of both the meat and seafood worlds here! They have the 'paluto' style where you can select from a wide selection of seafood and meat, then have it cooked the way you want it. We tried their fall-off-the-bone ribs, baked scallops, buttered garlic shrimps and crabs in garlic! Ahhh! Panalo!
(A)mbience:
Love the canteen style of seats but it's not that comfortable since they have no backrest but who cares because the food is amazing and fresh. The place is clean and does not smell like palengke. Love that you can choose your own mear and/or seafood here.
(B)utler Service:
The servers were friendly and fast enough to bring our requests.
We ate here by chance when we were going around the new wing of SM North. Since we love garlic butter shrimp we decided to try this place out. To be honest, we completely forgot to order any meat as we were quite satisfied with the shrimp and baked tahong (mussels), lol!
I would rate it higher except the seating is not very comfortable perhaps because they are not really encouraging their patrons to linger. After all, a faster turnover means higher sales. As for the price, just keep in mind that the concept is "paluto" meaning you pay for the weight of the food + cost of cooking it. In this manner you could avoid billshock.
They don't charge per head, they charge per dish. Discounts for PWD and senior citizens are accepted.
We came to know this place when we were checking out the newest wing of SM North Edsa. We've already eaten here twice and we really enjoyed dining here on both occasions.
They are paluto style where you choose the seafood/meat and they cook it for you. But they also have a menu. The seafoods are fresh. I love the Garlic Butter Shrimps and Grilled Tuna panga. Also worth getting is the Baked Scallops although serving is small - I counted and there were 9 pieces per serving (or maybe depends on the weight?). I wasn't a fan of the Calamares but the dip is good.
Not much on the ambience of the place and the seats are uncomfortable with no back rest. Long waiting time especially during peak hours.
