The food was awesome! I've been to a lot of Japanese restaurants and personally, this felt closest to what they have in Japan. Some items on the menu is kinda pricey (like some of the maki rolls that they have) but it was worth it!
If you're looking for a Japanese restaurant for some good food, then I would definitely recommend this place. Make sure to leave early if you want to have dinner there (say be there around 6pm) since the place will be most likely packed around 7pm or so.
Me and my family is a regular patron of Oedo. We love japanese food and they satisfy our cravings. Its value for money, consistent with food quality and not to forget the courteous and warm smiles of the staff.
February 23, 2020 dinnertime. First time. With my father. Got nearby parking easily. Diverse set of clientele, more than 90% capacity. Adequate number of staff. We both ordered sashimi rice bowl and miso soup. VERY satisfied with the sashimi quantity. Pleasantly surprised with the taste and serving size of the rice. Miso soup is okay. Will be back, definitely. Thanks!
By far one of the top 5 Japanese restaurants I’ve been to so far, at par with those at Little Tokyo.
We ordered the following:
- Katsu Curry - the katsu itself is delicious and was even better with the curry which tasted amazing.
- Spicy tuna rolls - best spicy tuna rolls I’ve tried to date! The rolls were prepared by a Japanese chef, rolled to perfection and topped with a generous serving of spicy tuna.
- Salmon sashimi - one word: fresh!
- Gyudon - the gyudon was alright, but it was not at par with what we were expecting from a highly-recommended Japanese resto.
Overall, it was a great dining experience and we’d definitely come back again!
The place has very good interior, spacious and well kept. There's a parking space close to the restaurant but you can always find parking along the side of the street as well. Food served here has always been very good and consistent the few times I've been there.
The crunch roll Mali, spicy salmon Maki, special okonomiyaki, crunchy tuna salad and sukiyaki are few of my usual favorites whenever I visit this place.
We went on a Monday night and it was half-packed with diners. It's quite noisy but still fine for us. We were quickly seated and left with the menus.
We ordered katsu curry, monster maki, spicy salmon sashimi, 2sticks of aspara bacon, 2sticks of enoki bacon and 2sticks of saikoro beef plus drinks.
Katsu curry was the best! It was as described in reviews. 5/5 for me. It was very flavorful. Katsu wasn't dry. With hefty serving of the curry sauce. If you're hungry and you want a dish solely to yourself, better get this.
Monster maki. We got this over the equally famous Oeda Maki which has unagi in it. This was filling too, 3 pcs and it made me feel full already. Nothing so special tho. 3.5/5 for me
Skewers. I've always liked skewers especially the wagyu cubes. They were served hot. 4/5 for me
The reviews here don't lie, their monster maki is a must try! I liked the exterior of the place, kinda good for having drinks with friends over good sushi. I didn't quite like their okonomiyaki but I'm looking forward to try their takoyaki.
This is our go-to Japanese restaurant. No need to travel far to get good Japanese food.
Their Spicy Salmon Sashimi is the best.
1) Beef teppanyaki - really flavorful and soooo juicy! It's tenderness is unlike any other and it isn't even wagyu! Make sure you eat this with their yummy Japanese rice!
2) Oedo sushi roll - really really good! We ordered this because everyone around us ordered it and we just knew from our 1st taste that this is their bestseller!
3) _____ roll (i forgot!) - yummy as well!
4) Sukiyaki - good! The small one might be too short for 3 people 😅
Ambience was good and service was ok!
It's a spacious restaurant that can accommodate big groups. I really loved the food!!! Most especially their rolls and the okonomiyaki. Great service too!
