My go-to place when I want healthy chicken. I love the hainanese chicken and rice. Before, I wondered why the chicken is served cold but when I learned how to cook it, I understood why, the chicken is being rested into iced water to stop the cooking to reserve the tenderness right after boiling it for around 45 mins. Soup is not always available so it's better to ask first before ordering if you came because of the chicken and soup. I put a lot of ginger sauce on the chicken which adds to its flavor. You can have up to 3 rice for an order of hainanese delight. Braised beef is tender and flavorfull which I also like.

Lunch time, and my friend was looking for a food that's less oily for her sensitive stomach. We're a total of 4pax.
Upon checking their menu outside (the menu here on Zomato is slightly outdated, btw), I was deceived by the "unlimited rice" sign but my other friend suggested to the nearby fast food chain instead. But later on, they agreed to eat here since I saw the other diners are satisfied with their meal.
Since they can't decide yet on what to order, and I have tried their signature chicken when I was still in College (that was 3-4 years ago) and wondered if it still tastes the same even though I can't remember it-- I chose the Hainanese Delight set, with unli rice. A total of 3 sets since I didn't know we all ordered the same type of dish. And the other one was Hainanese Fried Chicken set, with unli rice. You can also request soup and service water since it doesn't include on the set menu.
No doubt, their signature Hainanese Delight chicken is the best! I love how it's perfectly steamed and marinated down to bones of the white chicken. You can even eat it without the soy sauce and chili! I didn't like the taste of their Hainanese Fried Chicken though, or maybe I'm just used to the original. I had 5 refills of rice, btw.
Would love to come back again and try their other unli rice meals!
UPDATE: I also tried their Spicy Chicken set with unli rice. It tasted like the mainstream Inasal's and it isn't boneless. And their Tofu with Veggies also hits the spot to if you're craving for oriental veggies.
Chickeeeen! This place is where I could consume 7-8 cups of rice! Please don't judge! Hahaha! I love how tasty their chicken is even without sauce or condiments!
No need to go to the Indochine Peninsula just to satisfy one's craving for Hainanese chicken, as this restaurant serves hawker-type chicken rice, as well as other related dishes such as laksa. Although the superb quality of authentic chicken rice in Singapore and Malaysia defies comparison, both in terms of taste and presentation, Hainanese Delights' dishes altogether provide a good alternative. Three special sauces, i.e., ginger, hot and sweet, are also available to go with the chicken and other entrees.
i love their hainanese chicken! It kinda looks weird pero ganun talaga sya eh.. I remembered the times when I went to Hong Kong while eating it. It's good. You have to try their fried chicken! Sarap din! Also their different kinds of drinks. Really refreshing :) Downside, the store is kinda small... and you have to wait for a while to be seated specially during lunch and dinner...
