I love the wide variety of choices of flavorful food on your menu.
The food were tasty. I cannot say all because i did not try the Indian food. The dessert section (as always) is the winner. Although there were less food than other buffet restaurants. There were more Filipino food which are SOOO TASTY 😋. I had to come back twice for the tagalog bistek and caesar salad.
P.S.
The salad section was fun. There is a staff who asks if you want your salad mixed. He will mix the greens and the dressing in a garapon. Kyot. Other buffets should have this too.
Heat Shangrila is one of the best buffet , lobster night during fridays and wagyu night on saturdays. Its a good pay for your money having so many selections and desserts you could binge on. One of my fave hotels in terms of buffet with worth for your money.
Too much for breakfast! Started our day in a good mood because of the sumptuous breakfast. Was feeling full until late afternoon. We stayed in a horizon club room which serves free merienda and cocktails from 5-7pm. Will definitely try their lobster night next time.
Dined here with the family a few months ago. Plenty of food choices and we really enjoyed dining there. Drinks aren’t included on the buffet so we just stick with water. I saw that they serve Bananarama banana pudding for desserts but unfortunately, they already ran out of it when I was supposed to get some. But they have other desserts to choose from. The bill took a bit long before it was given to us.
It's always a wonderful experience here. 😍😍 I love how they just have a wide assortment of food. The seafood selection was actually impressive. I was a bit surprised (and of course delighted) to see that they had king crabs. 😍😍😍
The meat selection has a wide variety as well. They even have tempura, pizza, cold cuts, beef, soups, maki and pretty much everything. Definitely one of my fave buffet places around Manila. ❤
Best go-to place for a lovely hotel buffet in Pasig-Mandaluyong area! We usually celebrate special occasions here with family.
Friday night is Lobster night. Love love love it!
There was one lunch time where a magician entertained our kids, including the adults. He told us he's a regular employee of Edsa Shangri-la's laundry department which made it cooler! He was nice.
Waiters are generally very attentive and accommodating. always has a smile on their faces ans ready to serve.
The buffet spread is good as well as the wine buffet selection.
Always a dining feast when here for buffet. Choices are aplenty and really flavorful to your tastebuds. Service as well is always tops, done the Shangrila way.
Buffet price a bit steep but definitely worth the price. Good food and good service evident by the number of guests dining on weeknight.
Definitely recommended and will be back!
Mad for lobster? Or should I say, mad for crustaceans? Heat offers not only a huge galore of lobster dishes, but a variety of prawn and crab (quite surprised they serve KING CRABS! No kidding!) courses as well. They have a fresh seafood section where you get to choose which Sebastian (from little mermaid, haha) you want to be prepared for you. Usual flavour choices are garlic butter, lemon butter, and chili. Choices are not limited to the fresh section, as Heat also provides for an array of other lobster dishes (i.e. curry, singapore chili, etc.). They also serve sushi/sashimi, beef cuts, roast duck, pizza/pastas, among others. For dessert, there are several yummy cakes and ice cream flavors to choose from, and my personal favorite, puto bumbong, was served there as well. All in all a one of a kind and fun dining experience. Word of caution though, too much seafood can be bad for those with blood pressure or cholesterol issues.
I went here with my family last August 2018, the place is really good, as well as the food even though the buffet is not massive. I really enjoyed the experience here.
