A bit pricey but they have big serving and can be shared by 3-4 pax. It took around 30-40 minutes before our orders were served. We ordered lamb biryani, seafood platter, and Arya Sini Soor.
Lamb biryani: 6/10
Seafood platter: 6/10 (they should call this rice platter with some seafood)
Arya Sini Soor: 10/10
This restaurant caught my attention because of its name. Since I’m a fan of the original series Game of Thrones, who doesn’t want to try a restaurant named after Arya Stark of Game of Thrones right?
After watching a movie, we decided to have an early dinner, I still remember that we almost have the whole place because no one is eating that time –it’s still early for dinner.
We ordered the following:
ARYA SALAD – For starters, we tried the Salad house –since it’s my first time eating Persian food and I really don’t know what to expect, I just made my first perfect bite complete with all the ingredients in it. I can say that it has a different taste that stand out from the other salad that I’ve ever tasted.
And of course, we will not waste our chance to try their Famous kebabs. We decided to choose a combination of Lamb and Beef, and I can say that I really don’t like the lamb even if it taste good in here. I don’t want the after taste after I swallow the food.
Overall, I can say that my expectation was met, I would like to come back to try the other food on their menus, staff is courteous although I can’t say that they are easy to approach because after he delivers the food on our table, he’s nowhere to be found, maybe they are lack of staff that he have to help in the kitchen. We just saw him again after we demand for our bill. Moreover, we decided not to get any dessert because of this and decided to eat somewhere else.

This is our Persian resto go to place. They have the best garlic yogurt perfect for their kebabs, basmati rice and even their yogurt smoothies are the best!

My sister and I went to Shangri-La after a youth congress to try a different cuisine that will satisfy our taste buds and tummies and there we found this Mediterranean cuisine. 😊We enjoyed their authentic mouthwatering foods such as sembuseh, koobideh platter and pita bread.
This place was kinda small but was definitely fancy looking with nice interiors and tapestries.
Servers were attentive and very accommodating. 👍🏻
☝🏻Expensive than other more popular kebab restaurants but overall its really good because they serve with quality and value for money 👌🏻
Arya is a beautifully decorated Persian Restaurant in Shangri La Plaza. We tried the Lamb Biryani (Php 663), Mourgh Tanoori (Php 392) with Pita Bread and Strawberry Yoghurt Smoothie (Php 129). The Biryani rice was fragrant with Persian spices and tasted heavenly. The lamb was extremely tender and served in a spicy and tangy gravy. The mourgh / chicken tanoori was good too. Though priced slightly on the higher side, the taste absolutely makes up for it! Service was ok and loved that even their plates were Persian themed.
Went here on Sunday evening to satisfy our craving for Middle Eastern food. Arya left us well satisfied.
We had Arya Chai and a good Tamarind Smoothie for our beverage.
Papa Dam and Shirazi Salad as our appetizer/salad. Latter was a good diced cucumber salad with tomatoes and onions.
Beef Kobbideh - ground beef kebab- was quite good with whole wheat pita. Chicken curry with basmati rice was good too.
The price were reasonable for such an authentic persian restaurant with a nice ambience and good service. Try their kababs. The flavours are well blended and not too strong. Great for food lovers and for those who are observing halal food. Will definitely go back!
Had the Barley soup and the Qalye Mahi..a mahi mahi fish
With tamarind sauce.. This is the only place that serves
Barley soup which i would recommend you try but i understand its not always available.. The fish was fresh and enjoyable.. when i come back, am going for this again..
Authentic food & good atmosphere at Arya on a Fridate. I enjoy Persian dishes, its has consistent flavor and taste. The staple garlic and spicy sauce are just so perfect to mouthwatering dishes.
For appetizer, we had wheat pita breads in curry dip. Its good! Something different from usual humus.
For the main course, we had Shish Platter. A good choice since it has 1 stick of lamb, chicken & beef.It comes with 3 roasted tomatoes & sliced onions. Also, we had Chicken Curry. It consist of tender chicken thigh with yogurt sauce. And for 2, we had one order of Basmati rice with butter.
For drinks, of course I still go for the plain yogurt👌🏼
Verdict: this place satisfies my appetite in a very happy tummy way.
One of the best restaurants serving Mediterranean cuisine...
This is the brands' best branch in terms of ambiance, servings and service.
Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.
Cheers!
