We passed by this restaurant and the menu looked interesting so we tried it. There was only 1 waiter so we had to wait a bit. Price was fair, food was okay. I had to add salt to some of the dishes. It was still a great experience, and the food was different from the usual “fried chicken” and “carbonara.” Oh and their Drinks were so good!
European food choices. Interiors are interesting and ambience is inviting since it is located in a corner spot giving it vantage point. Quite pricey relative to its serving size. They served us a complimentary wine to try which was a nice gesture since it encourages guest feedback on their wine pairings. Late review - visit date: January 2018
BEST. TRUFFLE. RISOTTO. EVER!!!!! Service is great too! Everything else on their menu is cooked to perfection! One of my favorite restos! I go back here all the time!
Been here twice and will surely come back again until I have tasted everything on their menu.
Everything are super good. Place is great and staff are superb.
We ordered their Roasted Chicken Greens Entree (398) and its suuuper delicious. I have the roasted chicken and the mix of the ingredients plus the fruitty vinaigrette. If its your first time, you should order this.
We ordered Amatriciana (299), Gnocchi Vongole and Roast Prok Belly which we I didn't get the price as this is on their special menu. The Pork Belly is soo crispy and comes with a salad. As for the drink, its a watermelon lemonade.
A bit pricy but sulit naman sa lasa. 👌
I loved the food! We got their coffee steak (picture below; coffee steak isn't really the name of the dish, but it's close enough hehe) and chicken and both were so, so delicious! 😍 The prices aren't bad too. The waiters were also attentive and quick. I can't wait to try their other dishes!
Crispy chicken, banana bread, salmon roast salad, quattro spatzle and monte blanc. The bomb. Great place and loving that they have customized sanitizers. Great service, nice and millenial feel vibe in the whole place.
This is my boyfriend’s go-to place at Shang. He just loves their fried chicken served with banana bread.
I also love it myself. But other than that, i really couldn’t remember anything that really struck me or maybe it’s because we’ve been ordering the same food over and over again. Hahaha! I guess the frozen brazo is one. You can order that after you eat the fried chicken.
Their serving size is good. Almost all orders are given in generous servings, which gives you so much value for your money.
Servers are also very nice. Never had a bad experience with them. There was a time when i took out our left over foos (including the frozen brazo). But since we still wanted to go around the mall, we requested them if the could keep it for us and we’ll just go back for it before wr leave the mall. They glady accommodated us. Thank you very much!
Ambiance is great for gatherings with friends. :)

Update:
Went back here again with my boyfriend and ordered th food in the photos. Everything's great!
Ended up in this place mainly because I needed a massage but the spa was fully booked. I consoled myself by getting something not-so-calorie friendly for myself. Tried out the frozen brazo and it’s really good. A good pair with the coffee but honestly, I wasn’t much of a fan of the latter because it could be stronger, for my taste at least. Ambience is chill and the servers are really pleasant.
I visited Spatzle in Shangrila Mall with my bestfriend just to have dessert after a heavy lunch from a different restaurant. We ordered fondue, frozen brazo de mercedes and coffee latte. The fondue was supposed to be with stick o, green apple and marshmallow. Unfortunately, stick o wasnt available, so we had more apples instead. Brazo de mercedes was to die for. We'd definitely go back for it. Everything that was served to us was absolutely great! We enjoyed our dessert and the ambiance. It was really relaxing, as it wasnt very crowded when we visited there. The prices for the dessert was a bit high, but there was nothing to complain about the food. We spent 700++. The only thing to be improved, i think, is the service. The crew was nice, but a bit slow. We had our order after 15 to 20 minutes, considering that they were simple desserts. The bill and the change was given to us after roughly 15 mins. A lady crew also accidentally broke glasses on the side. I don't think the lady crew was the only one to be blamed. I already noticed from when we arrived that there were glasses and other dishes placed on the side but not neatly and properly arranged. Whoever had that idea to put them there, boy, it was a total mess. ( i couldn't take a photo of that side, though). Nonetheless, i had a pretty nice experience!
Ordered their Weekend Pork Belly last night.
The pork was perfectly baked. Just enough juice and the pork skin was crunchy. The taste was not as savory as the usual pork belly. It tasted good for me just right.
