Had my team lunch at Max's Tayabas Area diversion going Lucena few days ago, the venue is really great with ample parking space, clean vicinities and the service was personalized! Hoping for a consistent service though because that branch contained one of the best service staff- kind and approachable! Keep it up! Five star for your fantastic job!
maraming salamat Max's Sm Manila.. sobrang saya lang, at napaka bait ng mga staff.. sobrang saya ko sa birthday ko at civil wedding namin.. kulang ang 5star!!
Tried their halo-halo. Surprise, surprise, sobrang sarap! It has cheese savings that add to the creaminess and savoriness of the dessert. A must-try!
I get a whole spring chicken delivered once a week to me here in Rockwell. Max’s is my favorite fried chicken joint here in Makati, light crisp on the outside, and consistently tender within. No pics, cause they won’t allow as it’s delivery. This Bel Air branch been consistent on the quality of the chicken, not dry or undercooked and delivery service is prompt.
Our nearby Filipino food to go👌🏻👌🏻 Though service needs to improve, buti na lang masarap at consistent foods. Binabalik balikan pa rin🤗🤗🤗🤗
My power lunch for today as usual I've ordered my all time favorite combo it's the fiesta plate . I so love the taste of the chicken in Max's it's so yummy ....
We had our lunch here. Crew are nice and accommodating, service is fast. For the food for the pancit it’s to saucy but it’s nice for the chicken it is a bit dry but it’s okay. I believe it can be work out. And ofcourse buco pandan is still awesome with a coco ice cream on top. Yum yum. Overall it’s a great lunch
Whenever I'm craving for filipino food, max's is the first restaurant that comes into my mind. Ordered lumpiang shanghai, bangus, and pinakbet.
Bangus ala pobre is bit small compared with what i got before in my previous order with them.
loved the pinakbet, veggies still crunchy.

We had a group lunch with the team. So we were super hungry since its lunch time and the place is jampacked. Tables are full so we have to wait for 25-30minutes before seated.
The service is slow, waiters are all over the place. Took long for our requests like water and utensils to get delivered.
The Food
Basic Meal: my always go to budget meal if I want to eat Max's famous chicken. I love it, tastes the same.
Sizzling Sisig: it tasted great, sizzling hot and steamy!
Sizzling Tofu: its delicious though there were not enough mayonnaise or the sauce on the plate. And its a little oily.
I love going back in Max's since the Filipino food they are serving is delicious. The service is slow for me, hope they can improve on that. But, Overall great lunch place!

I'm not a fan of Max's chicken so I usually order something else from the menu. There was a time when I ordered Sinigang sa Tyan ng Bangus as it was raining and the cold air made me crave for some soup. :) They initially gave me soup with half cooked bangus. :( But they were kind enough to give me another one wehre the bangus was cooked perfectly :)
Giving them 4.5 for the service at this branch :)
Currently having our group's awards party here and I must say, this place is perfect for events like these. Their 2nd floor accommodated our very big group (about a 100 or more). They even have a mini-stage. Really good set-up.
As for the food, you can never really go wrong. This meal was served first. We all thought that was it. Minutes later, Pinakbet and Tofu Sisig were served. And some of us finished our other dishes. That's the only downside. Wished everything was served first.
Max's is a solid Filipino spot with good food at amazing prices. You can come here and order your own dish, but I believe the best experience here is to go family style and share.
The pork dishes here really shine. My favorite would have to be the Crispy Pata (deep-fried Pork Knuckle), which is a sizeable piece. You get a great contrast with a crispy fried exterior, and very juicy and tender meat inside. The Chicken Sisig is a solid appetizer too. Everything was full of flavor but not overwhelming.
Lots of people try Lumpiang Shanghai when they go to Filipino restaurants, and it's probably because it is accessible. It is a lot like egg roll or spring roll so nobody is scared off. I've said previously that I don't usually like other people's Lumpia because it isn't as good as what my Lola makes, and that still holds. But Max's is the best second option to my Lola's homemade variety.
On top of that, Max's Restaurant is spacious, comfortable, and offers quick service. For its tasty dishes and extensive menu, I will definitely be back shortly.
