I was looking for more quaint small restos in the Salcedo Village area and I came across this in the Classica condos. I just love its intimateness of the ambiance interiors that are classy. I ordered one of their best sellers the beef salpicao and it didnt disappoint. I may have to go on return visits and try their other best sellers and even the coffee as well.
Went here with a friend and the ambiance was good.We ordered: Pork Ala Pobre(5/5) , Spicy Prawn Puttanesca (5/5), Salted Caramel Chessecake (5/5) Yum overall.

Just like its predecessor Alexa's, food at Ark is exciting, fresh and never boring. And unlike Alexa's, Ark's service staff is courteous and friendly.
It seems though that the former restaurant staff's snobbish ways have transferred to the latter's owner. Thank God the food is good that it takes the edge off the owner's snootiness.
Try the salads and sandwiches. They are sure-fire ways for Ark to win you over, if it hasn't yet.
I really like this cafe but they don't have a good exhaust working. Whenever i leave the cafe i smell very much like it and my clothes, even my laptop bag smells like cooking oil and food.
This resto is a nice foodie find. The ambience of the place is laid back, and the interior is modern with a slight rustic feel, which came from incorporating a long wood table and using high stool chairs which looked like they were made from driftwoods.
Food wise, it's not great but it wasn't totally bad. Their chicken tocino is tender and seasoned perfectly. However, Im a bit disappointed with their Spicy Prawn Puttanesca. It was under seasoned and the prawns were overcooked. Also, the garlic stick/bread that came with the pasta was too hard. Their coffee is nice though.
Admittedly, the only thing that hold me back from giving them a lower rating than what im giving was their service. The staff was very attentive, accommodating and fast.
I hope though that if i decide to dine again the food is better then.
ark replace the previous restaurant called alexa deli. i have been to alexa deli nuemeous times before. so when we visited ark, the menu has changed but its still good. ark has a very good ambiance for meet-ups. its quiet inside but you can talk freely. it has wi-fi. service is quick. staff are courteous and helpful. food is good. and they also have a bar if you are in for some alcohol.
I'm always here for the sandwiches. No matter how long it takes for them to prepare my order, it's always worth the wait! I would certainly recommend this to all my classy friends out there!

Tried their Mushroom Omelet and it was really delicious. I think they just need to improve their turnaround time. I dropped by at 8:30am and there wasn't even any customers. My meal was served almost 9am. The place is cozy, too! Looking forward to try their pancakes, muesli and healthy smoothie!
Newly opened in Salcedo . Accidentally found this place as my friend and I were looking for village cafes around the area to discuss business. We saw this to be the perfect place to talk as it appeared to be very comfortable, modern and homey :) and quiet of course, best for meetings too.
We ordered the spinach artichoke dip (290 PHP), good for sharing for 2 if you are a light eater :D (the dip was truly good served with 4 small toasted baguettes) , and the Ark buffalo wings. My friend and i were both satisfied with what we ordered . I would recommend the Spinach Artichoke :) I paired our orders with a glass of red wine (php 180) . It's cool that they are serving wine.
Definitely a cool place to go to. Love the cozy feeling it gives. Would definitely be back at the Ark ;)
The woman at the order counter was polite and friendly. They serve breakfast as well. Open as early as 7:30am and closes at 11:30 PM i think.
