Nothing beats freshly-baked-hot-off-the-oven breads and pastries specially one from Wildflour. Those boxes of goodies were panacea for covid19 anxiety and end-of-the-world scenarios that plague (pardon the pun) this mom-of-4 's dreams in the dead of night. Check out the treats I got. Cronuts - a marriage of croissant and donuts which became famous some years back.
Another great experience in a Wildflour restaurant, this time in Wildflour Italian! Excellent ambiance and service! And great food n drinks!
We started of with a glass of Speri Valpolicella and Rossini (prosecco poured over pureed strawberries). Along with an order of freshly baked focaccia with lovely olive oil dip.
Cacio e Pepe Pizza was really yummy! Spaghetti Puttanesca with tuna (among the specials of the week) was good too. Ended with a moist tiramisu with a glass of Grappa. Memorable meal!
We were famished that particular night. No specific reason. What was clear was that my Tita (and cousin) wanted Wildflour Italian at BGC. So, we went.
I was impressed by the place. Dimly-lit, classy interior and well-trained service who assisted us as as we ordered for Tricolore Salad, Prosciutto Mango, Rigatoni, Margherita Pizza and Cacio E Pepe Pizza.
It was the Prosciutto Mango that stood out for me which I consumed together with the Margherita Pizza. Result? It was near perfection. Vowed to try the salad and the Rigatoni on my re-visit.
