Location is good, exhaust not working well a food smell will stick in your clothes. People are nice and staff is attentive and friendly. Food is above average and experimenting on new pancake ideas is cool #epicuRon
One of the oldest long standing resto in upper mckinley road. This place is always open early so whenever we have to eat the not so usual breakfast from fastfoods around, we would order here.
As for me, I ordered the chicken and waffle combo. My friends had the chicken spag, steak, tacos etc. These combos are worth almost 300 and it includes home made ice tea. I opt to choose the one with waffle but to be honest, it was not the one I expected. Before, the waffles are not too dry, not too eggy but this one is bland, eggy and dry as if I am eating crackers coz it crunchy thus it does not go well with the fried chicken anymore.
I hope this can be improved. Some waffles had that chewy and gooey texture which I prefer better.
The staff though were nice and friendly even though there were many customers that early in the morning.
Pancake house is always comfort food for me and my family. It’s one of our favorite breakfast places and it’s no wonder everyone loves dining here.
What we ordered:
Golden brown waffles
This is my absolute breakfast staple. They have the excellent waffles and the best buttercream.
Tapsilog
Tapa egg and garlic rice. This is a no brainer, seasoned beef perfect with some spiced vinegar and addicting with garlic rice.
Spaghetti
A childhood favorite, its also one of the dishes we always share and order. Rich in flavor, meaty, and filling.
Chicken with rice
While their chicken is quite underrated it’s actually really good. They dose it with calamansi before coating and frying that gives it that extra flavor. Their gravy is complimentary to the chicken taste.
The service was good, will definitely come back soon.
I really love pancakes and waffles. So, where should I go? Definitely here. It is near my workplace.
Tried their Caramel Banana walnut waffle and their blueberry pancakes. Both are divine. However, the waffle’s syrup is a little too sweet.
I tried their promotional item menu, the pan-seared fish with brown rice & side salad and it was great! For roughly Php300, you can also get a glass of refreshing iced tea to wash it all down. This dish gives a lighter take on comfort food especially when most comfort foods are fried. At least with a healthier option, you can indulge with less guilt and that’s what this dish is all about. The flavor of the fish is complemented by the sweet & sauce and a helping of the salad gives body to the entire meal alongside the brown rice. I don’t think they still offer this but willing to try new offers if they have any.
I was early for my turnover a few weeks back and my companion and I decided to have some breakfast here. Yes it is still comforting with just their basic pancake and some sausages. The flavor would still be reminiscent of my childhood days that it would make me go back for more.

This has been a go-to place in the neighborhood ever since we started living in BGC. During that particular day, it was a combo of us not wanting to go somewhere far, eating something inexpensive yet not fastfood. They offered a combo of 2 meals with complimentary iced tea for the price of Php390. This was quite a steal! The boyfie opted for the Pan Grilled Pork Belly, I went for the Seafood Croquette. The taste was fair, consistent with all the other stuff in their menu. Aside from the occassional addition to their menu sporadically, their tried and tested meals are okay.
Komportable akong kumain nang mag-isa dito. Matagal ata talaga sa lahat ng branch ang pagluto kaya nakakapagbasa pa ako. Dahil medyo mahal, tuwing bagong sweldo lang ako kumakain dito.
Paborito ko ang manok. At sa kanila ata ang paborito kong timpla ng gravy, libre naman ang unang extra. Minsan inoorder ko ang House Special set kung nagki-crave ng tacos kahit hindi naman ako gaanong nasasarapan sa spaghetti nila (kaunti lang din kasi). Masarap din ang Vanilla Milkshake, nga lang ay bitin.
Gusto ko rin ang kanilang Bacon Potato Salad.
Matagal na nang huli kong natikman ang Roast beef nila pero sa pagkakaalala ko, masyadong malaki ang serving kung para sa akin lang. Kahit ang pinakabinibenta ay pancake, hindi ko sinusubukan dahil mahal masyado. Pero ang waffle nila, talagang malutong at masarap!
Gusto ko ang kahit anong branch nila dahil dito ko lang naririnig sa labas ng playlist ko ang The Doors.

Classic pancake house is my personal go to for pancakes since I'm by the area. I also enjoy their roast chicken plate with tacos. I've been going to this place since I was a kid. This is one of my comfort food.
