I was killing time in BHS since I was almost two hours early for the foodie meet up when I saw this branch and remembered that I haven’t had my usual Ice Blended Double Chocolate for sometime now.
I did enter store and was greeted by the extra-coolness of the airconditioning and the smell of bread being reheated wafting from the kitchen and enjoyed the availability of table and seats. And stayed for about a hour with my beloved Ice Blended drink.

On a Saturday afternoon, a coffee and a slice of freshly baked blueberry cheesecake makes the afternoon "sweet"!
The freshly brewed caffe latte had a strong coffee aroma enough to make a coffeeaholic flutter the heart. The coffee was perfectly made.
However, the show stealer was the blueberry cheesecake. It was so fresh & creamy that it could give a run of their money to 5-star hotel bakeries. I love the fact that Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf provides daily baked goods only.
I urge people to frequent Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf as it is quite underrated compared to Starbucks and others.
Monday is the least favorite or most dreaded day of many. It marks the end of weekends and it always feel like it was the longest day as we have to drag ourselves back to work (or reality). But Monday isn't so bad when your favorite drinks are at prices as sweet as its taste at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf! And yes, Mondays Made Better is back!
Kudos to the crew who assisted me earlier to have my phone charged, given that they're almost closing. Ambience is relaxing as well. Thank you.
Tried the new coconut ice blended–matcha, and I love it. didn’t imagine that the coconut would blend well with the matcha but I think I would appreciate a more earthy taste for my matcha drink. No whipped cream or less maybe on my next purchase.

Having afternoon coffee together with other mommies and their kids. They have outdoor sitting area where you can sit, enjoy your coffee and food while watching the kids play around on Highstreet green lawn area.
I must say that nothing really special about their coffee, just like anyother coffee shop, but I love their chocolate cookies. You can find chocolate chip in every single bite!

My favorite coffee chain, CBTL!
I could not give a perfect 5-star rating for this branch no matter how I love CBTL, haha!
The reason? Their meals are sometimes not as good as how I imagine or how they're shown on the menu.
First, I've ordered this Salmon Scrambled before from their breakfast set. Quality of salmon is so-so. It's pretty obvious that the fish was not fresh.
The free brewed coffee was tad cold. I expected it to be at least hot to jumsptart my day.
BUT, I love the fact that they refill your coffee for free until 10am.
Next, I've had their Chicken Pesto sandwich and oh, boy, the bread was rubbery, it gave my upper palate bruises. No kidding! The chicken was overdone, too. It was dry.
Last, I've tried their Tomato and Herb Linguine during lunch since it was a new item on their menu. The pasta was SAGGY, yes, overcooked again. The sauce was tangier than your lemon tea. Well, it was poorly done, check the photo! ;)
Good thing is their pastries and coffee are bombs!
I recommend their Original Mocha Ice Blended. It has the right amount of chocolate and coffee.
Their Americano will really give you a kick. Super love the strong coffee taste and aroma!
Their blueberry cheesecake is so good, too! However, it's always out of stock.
Red velvet muffin is an 8 out of 10, too bland for my taste buds.
Their chocolate cake is soooooo chocolatey!!! Perfect pair of their tea or black coffee!
As to the ambience of this branch, it's cozy and homey. They renovated the space making it loft-type.
For people looking for a quiet place, they have to go upstairs. There are two sockets for your laptop needs.
Baristas are friendly and professional. They would greet you in ingress and egress.

I like that this branch closes late. So especially when there are promos that last the whole day, I’ve always got time to catch it since I know this branch is still open even others are closed already.
With indoor and outdoor seating areas.
Have not encountered any problems with the service or quality of drinks here.
Also nice that they have a comfort room inside the shop albeit too small unlike their branch in Century City Mall where the comfort room is spacious.
i love the renovated look of this branch along the stretch of High Street, they have a mezzanine which overlooks the dining hall below. Bought the Raspberry Mocha Ice Blended and it was refreshingly good. The staff were friendly and had good rapport. The Swirl Card is a great rewards program, free fast wifi too if you present it before purchase. Recommended.
Excellent food and service. Their staff is very polite and approachable. It is also a comfortable place to hang out with friends. 😊
I recommend their Hot Double Chocolate w/ Marshmallows especially when the weather is cold. 👍🏻
