Try the Seven Sea Moriawase, its more than 7x awesome! my new favorite is the Tori Chiisu Maki (cheese filled chicken roulade)! Thank you YUMi!
It's hard to get decent uni and ika sashimi anywhere. And I got the freshest from Yumi!
Very tasty Japanese food! Worth the price of the food and the service is very good and fast. Would definitely come back soon!! A must try is the tempura bento box, very sulit and the servings are really big.
tried the new aburi rolls and it tastes soooo good, better than ooma in my opinion. also a huge fan of the ebi tempura! super crunchy and delicious 💖 the chirachi moriawase is also a must try!
Yumi has been on my list of places to go. I have gotten and read some reviews that they have a good selection of chirashi bowls as well as uni/sea urchin. I am a sucker for uni plus seeing Yumi on a food discount app, I had to go.
I forgot which chirashi I ordered. All I know it was one of the ones with uni of course. Sadly, there was no uni, so I had the option of substituting it with maguro/tuna. I also originally planned to order Uni Pasta, but that obviously didn’t happen. Instead I ordered Soft Shell Crab Tempura. I will admit that I was a little bummed, but not so much. I a man also a sucker for soft shell crab, and was more than happy to see it as a tempura option on the menu, as not a lot of Japanese places have it.
The chirashi bowl was very good. The sashimi was flavourful and not at all fishy. The vinegared sushi rice had a nice tang that balanced well with the pink sugar. Honestly, I prefer the tanginess being there and strong, than being short and no flavour for the rice, and only tasting sweet pink sugar. Definitely in my top 5 of places to eat chirashi bowls.
The soft shell crab tempura was quite surprising when it was served to me. The portion was huge, and actually good for 2. I admit that even if I was dining alone, I was able to finish it because it was super delicious. The breading was just right—light and crisp. I could still taste a lot of the crab, and it was truly oishi!
Food: 4.5 - Oishi! Just really was craving for uni.
Price: 4.0 - Pricing seemed a little steep. Thanks to a food app though, I was able to get a good discount.
Service: 5.0 - Friendly staff. They communicated clearly what could be substituted with the sushi chef.
Ambience: 3.5 - The place seemed dark and dreary to me. Brighter lights would be nice.
Yumi has a very big menu. I will most certainly come back to try other dishes and pray that uni will be in stock.
Staff are very friendly and accomodating and they knew us already. Food is good everytime we go there especially the salmon sashimi, salmon with cheese and dalandan juice. Everything is fresh.
Ate here Sunday with my family. Great place and good food. My only gripe is that my Tamago Sashimi and Kani sashimi never arrived and I had to cancel the order. Their sukiyaki says that it’s good for 2-3 pax but it is closer to 3-4 pax. Tempura was heavenly and their bento boxes are worth the price. Special mention to the scallops, beautiful and buttery.
Favorite Yumi branch. Good and quick service. Food is always delicious and consistent. Salmon sashimi is always fresh, gyu aburi roll is bombbbb
Went to the Resto at around 8pm-9pm and thought that the place was closed since there were no customers at that time. The servers were very accommodating and was patient enough to wait for our final orders. We were given drinks and small appetizers while we were still picking on what to order.
Food ordered:
1. Tantanmen Ramen
- Has a small kick of spicyness and the overall flavor is just right - Not too salty. Though i think it was lacking a bit of presentation and the soup was overflowing.
2. Buta Miso Ramen
- Not too sure how this is different with eating an ordinary Shio Ramen but it still tastes good. Though my friend was a bit concerned on the meat since it was a bit sour.
3. California Maki with Flying Fish Roe
- This was served just after a few minutes we finished ordering our food. Just your typical california maki but the size is bigger than what i was expecting. Nonetheless, cravings were satisfied 💯
The ramen has a serving that is good for 1-2 persons. Will definitely go back to try out some of their desserts 😊
2nd time here. Food is great. A bit pricey than your usual Jap Resto. Place can use a little renovation but other than that, good Jap place while in Greenhills.
Love the bento boxes! Super worth it. I ordered the tempura bento box with the pork skewers! The service was good as well. Appreciate the appetizers they give when you arrive to tie down your stomach.

My favorites are: 1) Chirashi Ikura Sake or Chirashi Salmon (since I don’t eat everything that’s in the assorted Chirashi, I like Salmon more), 2) Uni Sashimi, 3) Cauliflower Chahan - tastes like Japanese Fried Rice but healthier!, 4) Salmon Sashimi and 5) Hiyashi Chuka Salad Ramen - which is cold ramen noodles with sesame dressing, cucumber & crabstick, think of it as Japanese pasta!
