On the hunt for coffee shops or places I can work in, I stumbled upon Neighborhood Game Cafe one lazy and hot Wednesday morning. After scouring the area for the available coffee shops in my vicinity, I decided to head over there. I arrived approximately 10:23am and they were open but the door was locked, they had to open for me. Apparently I’m the first and only customer of their day.
The interior is absolutely stunning. There are a lot of natural light, contrasting but soft color tones pleasing to the eyes, and well spaced furnitures. The flow of the room is very open and natural. I sat in a little corner table because I think that is where the plug is. Though it is beside a curtained off section which has high tables. Perhaps they opened it up when there were more people. I grabbed their menu as I walked past the counter towards my table for the next few hours. The ambience, further softened by relaxing local OPM music (Respect), was very relaxing, almost sleepy.
The staff was friendly. I got their wifi, yay. I ordered their French Toast (Salted Egg Custard type). It comes in a rustic caste iron pan and it looked delicious. The toast was quite big. I could smell the powdered sugary goodness from my seat. It was still warm and it makes your mouth water. The toast is a two-layer bread with the classic Filipino favorite sugar and butter in between. It is topped with a salted egg custard on top. Verdict: yum. Next time they could make the bread thinner though because its current thickness does not allow the french toast’s trademark rich creamy flavor to seep in. In effect, it is like eating half a french toast and half pinoy sandwich. I enjoyed it very much though! Thanks to the salted egg, it was not too sweet, almost savory. Yummm.
BY THE WAY, their French Toast comes with a free coffee or hot chocolate if you order it between 9-11am.
Plus it’s affordable. Will definitely return for their other items.
Food: 4.5/5
Interior: 5/5 (aside from the place only having a small table with socket)
Service: 4/5 (not exactly the happiest but I don’t blame them)
Value for Money; 4.5/5
Its a nice place. I went here with my bf kasi I wanted a quality time, yung may bonding, not just eating. Madaming games pero sana nalilinis ng maayos saka yung iba kulang kulang na, say yung sungka, kulang ng shells pero ang substitute earrings saka 5cents. Haha. Its quite pricey, sana medyo dagdagan din yung serving size. Food is good too.
Nice and cozy place. Best place to spend time with kids. Food are superb. Parking is free. The chicken wings are so delicious that’s why its their best sellers. And one thing more, all day breakfast with coffee is to die for super sarap filipino dish
The place is very bright and the art on the walls are really cool. There's a wide variety of games that you can play with! The game masters of the place are ecstatic in teaching their visitors about the games. I really had a good time with friends, and the cheesecake is superb! I also ordered a shake which has just the right amount of sweetness that I could drink while munching my cheesecake.
Will surely go back to the place and try their other offerings.
One thing I really like about this place is that besides the board game, they really invest with the taste. I tried most of menu and I am very pleased with the taste. Thumbs up for the tomato porkchop, dutchbaby oreo, cheese quesadilla and chicken wings; they are really worth the money.
Also, I would like to commend the cafe, for having a special menu they call the H.A.L.F. (Have a Little Faith) where their barista offer you their specialty drink. I tried the Ottoke and it was a delight! :)
Comfortable seats, cool games, delicious food, great staff, a wonderful place for friends and family indeed! :)

This place is totally cool. Their beverages taste amazing! THE NEW YORK CHEESECAKE IS TO DIE FOR!!!! Wasn't able to order food because we just had lunch before going here, but will definitely try some the next time I come back (which would be probably really soon!!).
Good food: orange hair, chicken chops, cheese quesadilla, BUTTERBEER, mango float pancake
Ok: chicken curry, salted egg yolk wings, fries, java chip coffee
To improve on saltiness: teriyaki chicken wings
On service: good service, quick and accommodating. Friendly staff... kuya Kim taught me so many board games. I must return to ask where they bought some of the rare games. Tho may isang employee na di friendly. Hahahaha, wag niyo na lang pansinin.
On price: baon kayo lotsa cash. Food is delish you’ll wanna refill.
On ambience: wow! Wifi, charging spot, coolness.
Baon lotsa friends— the more, the better, the merrier. Sila rin manlilibre sa food mo. 😂😂😂
Hanggang sa susunod

First, the location of the place is near , the management is very accomadating with their guest, the prices of the food is very affordable, for only 400 each you can enjoy good food and ambiance. they also have this kind of frappe that is called half.. There were alot of board games that you can actually play by two's and by group.. Kudos guys, i do love and enjoy tsuro board games.
There’s a new favorite hidden hangout in the city where board game lovers can chill out by playing board games while eating their comfort food and enjoying their specialty coffee.
This place is good for groups of friends and kids who love playing board games as one of their hobbies. Neighborhood Game Café is good for groups and they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and even evening snack.
One of the dishes that I tried is the Sweet & Spicy Crispy Chicken Burger. What I love about this burger is that it has a perfect blend of sweetness and spicy-ness.
My favorite from their signature-blended beverage is the Butterbeer Blended Coffee, inspired from the Harry Potter movie’s Butterbeer. I’ll be trying another one of their signature blended beverage , though on my next visit.
My friends and I had a great time playing board games while munching on our dinner. One of their games we played as the cards against humanity (no pun intended). Each of us gets a chance to pick a card with a question (black card) then others will lay down a card with an answer (try not to laugh as each card contains weird answers. We had fun until almost the closing time of the café.
We had our picture taken just before leaving the venue.
