It's been hours on end working on my script that I thought of taking a break. Decided on the Regis Center for two reasons: near my house and I haven't been to this branch.
The first things that impressed me about this branch were the interior, the lighting (especially!) and the cleanliness (even the comfort area was passably clean). Second thing was the baristas who were oh-so polite and pleasant.
And lastly, I enjoyed their preparation of my favorite, Blended Double Chocolate. A perfect midnight drink

Food, coffee, and juices are good and affordable. (Pink guava juice still the best 😂) Best spot to study/work/ or simply chill! ☺️
It's no surprise that The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf came up with yet another product innovation. The latest beverage experiment is quite unexpected with Matcha green tea since it is not a popular flavor amongst Filipinos. But they found a way, by incorporating it with mainstay mixes. It is also made available in the usual multiple ways- a bold espresso, Ice Blended or via ice.
I truly enjoyed sipping my way through the Matcha Raspberry, a blend of bold green tea paired with sweet and tangy raspberry fruity taste. In one go you have both strong flavors fighting it out in your taste buds. I had this drink with their Feta & Sardine Pandesal and new product of theirs via Empanada. The latter wasn't as good, it was flaky and lacking in filling.
CBTL's got the Matcha Macchiato, Matcha Affogato Ice Blended, and Matcha Raspberry. Which one would you want to try first?
Although being a cafe, the stars they show are their coffee and tea but their food is tasty. My personal favorite is their Tomato and Herb Linguine pasta. You won't notice that it's vegetarian and the cheese they use is good quality. For breakfast, i love their Eggs Ben and Salmon & Cream Cheese Bagel.
I prefer their teas over their coffee, especially Moroccan Mint Tea and African Sunrise. You can have their tea hot, cold, or latte, depending on your mood.
Went here for around 12midnight. I really like the ambience. The crews are nice and lively even that late. Hoping to visit this café more often.
I love hanging out at CBTL Katip because the baristas are friendly and the coffee is good. Shoutout to Ms. Jay for being super friendly and helpful! I think she sensed that I was stressed with my paper so she approached me and asked me to pick a folded piece of paper from a wooden box. It was a bible quote!
After eating at Brickfire in Katipunan, me and my friend were looking for a tambay spot. I was craving for coffee frappe that time and this came up!
Place is really nice and has great ambiance. That time, we opted to sit outside since it seems a bit hot inside.
Anyway, I ordered their Toffee Nut Ice Blended®. I find this too sweet for my taste but still yummy.
Was able to make tambay here til 12md. Good frappes & nice place. Might come back here sometime soon! :)

Coffee and cheesecake is one hell of a combination. :-D This is a mirienda before going back to the office. :-D Its always great to have a ’me time’.

I'm really getting into Coffee Bean's holiday drinks and their purple planner!
I really like this store when it comes to studying! The baristas are really nice (nicer than the ones from Starbucks, I kid you not)... They have a fast broadband connection (for research puroses😂) that even let's you check in your base from time to time... It's pretty bright on the second floor too, if you sit by the windows... And the place is really quiet up until mid afternoon... Go early if you want to be assured of a parking space...
Come early evening, the students start piling in and it becomes a bit noisy... But nowhere near how noisy and rowdy the crowd of Starbucks... Still a relatively quiet in comparison...
I ordered their Moroccan Mint Tea Latte with their pistachio bread... Forgot the correct name, but I thought it was a bit dry... I wouldn't recommend it... I still love the Moroccan Mint Tea Latte anyway, so there's that!😊 It doesn't have that strong caffeine kick if that's what you like... And if you are relatively awake or if you want something late at night, this is a good choice..
CBTL will always be my favorite place away from home.
My favorite cake is their Triple Decker Cheesecake. First reason, it is not sweet. Second reason, it has a mixture of Cookies and Cream plus Vanilla and Cheesecake flavors. Also, I can really pair this cake with any drink. :)
