Mochi and Bahn Mi are the stars of this place. I hope they eventually open a store in the mall so I can visit it more often. Delicious food and nice space!

Discovered this a few weeks ago when we passed by Doña Hemady. Huge signage of MOCHI ICECREAM really caught my attention lol 🐷 So we tried it this afternoon. I was so giddy to try the mochis!!! My top choices are salted caramel, green tea and pistachio. The also have bahn mi sandwiches which are really good!!!!!! Pork bahn mi was the bomb.

The cafe itself is good for dates. It's quaint and cute. Plus the food are amazing.

One thing I immediately noticed is that they get a lot of orders. About 7 people walked in to pick up their desserts in the 3 hours that I stayed there. The products are actually made onsite as opposed to other mochi cafes in which their products are imported from Japan.

In terms of taste, it's pretty fair. I love the fact that it's not too sweet and the mochi is perfectly chewy and gummy. However, compared to other cafes that specialize in mochi, Dezato's presentation is severely lacking. It looks almost wet and melted even though the ball was still rock hard. Mochi is supposed to be powdery and "snowball" like. This way, you can hold the product without your fingers getting all sticky. So with that being said, there's room for improvement. However, their flavors are pretty unique- red velvet, avocado, brazo de mercedes, etc. Even though it is not as delicious and visually appealing as mochicreme's it's a lot cheaper. It's probably half as expensive as competing mochi stores.

I also ordered the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi (Php 110). Now that was good. I'd definitely get it again. The veggies were crunchy and perfectly pickled, it had pate, a slice of ham, sprig of cilantro and the baguette was fresh. It's a pretty good Banh mi at a pretty fair price too. Another point of mention would be that they have Filipino versions of this sandwich- longanisa and beef tapa.

The service is satisfactory and the cafe is spacious and pretty quiet. Good place to relax, study or read a book.
