It has a practice for my new BFF and myself to pass by Starbucks or Seattle's Best (or any coffee place for that matter) right after a drinking spree before heading home (my BFF's house is a 30-second drive away!). This time, we finished relatively early (he had work the following day) and we decided to dilute some alcohol in the body at this branch.
They were already closing the place up for the day but the baristas were nice enough to still accommodate us. My usual of tall Signature Iced Chocolate with nonfat milk and light whip stirred in tasted well which kept us company for the next 20 minutes. Thanks, Matalino branc
Ordered the new Double ristretto blended cream, chocolate truffle cheesecake and new york cheesecake. The drink was too bitter for me but when I put a sachet of brown sugar it tasted so much better. I would order it again and maybe will ask for an extra shot of hazelnut syrup :) yum!
For the cakes I like the chocolate truffle because its a combination of dark and sweet chocolate the top part was dark and the bottom is a sweet cheesecake. The 2 flavors work very well. The newyork cheesecake as we all know is already a classic cake from Starbucks and its always a safe and good choice if you're having a hard time deciding on what cake to order.

One of the best structured SB that I've been. It also has a place for smokers at the back of the store. At first i thought that it was a 2-storey SB outlet. As usual, SB has been the favorite of the many coffee lovers. it was crowded even though it's already an hour before midnight.
Almost everytime I go here, it is always jam packed. Sometimes the line can really be long.
Place has a huge parking lot that is always filled. Haha!!!

first time in this branch. parking is huge but on a saturday night it was still not enough. there are a lot of vacant tables with only books or bags with nobody in it.... wishing they would be more considerate and share the chairs or the space especially on a crowded night. 😉
the foh/floor staff and guards are accommodating and professional as always.... I can't say the same with the guy baristas though... refrain from playing/fooling around in the work place.
hands down, the best starbucks branch i've ever been to (and i've been to a lot). i seriously can't last a week without paying a visit. it's probably the chillest place in maginhawa on weekday mornings (around 6:30, which is when i usually go), although it gets jam-packed in the afternoon and at night. it's really big and offers outdoor seating, both out front and in the back end of the store. pristine air conditioning ♥ and the baristas are always nice. no bad experiences in the 3 years i've been frequenting, so far. they serve, well, typical starbucks food and beverages. but with a little more love. starbucks matalino definitely has a special place in my heart. what else can i say? i just keep coming back.
Attentive staff and baristas and I feel safe leaving my things for quick bathroom breaks when I stay here to study. (But still watch out for your really very valuable stuff, okay?)
It's a good place for studying since most people really go here to study. You will also feel productive in this setup.
We love hanging out here especially at night! It's very spacious and not a lot of loud crowd. Starbucks doesn't just offer great list of coffee, teas and frappes but also a great set of food!!
And their "Roasted Chicken Pesto and Shitake Mushroom on Flat Bread" is undeniably good!! You can definitely eat it in just a glance!! That's how amazingly good it is!
This starbucks' branch is always jampacked be it in the afternoon or late at night. The barista's are super duper friendly and reliable. Their hand crafted beverages are superb in taste and consistency
