How exciting to find a restaurant that serves authentic Cantonese cuisine! I was impressed that roasted duck was on the menu, as this isn’t typically served in other Chinese restaurants but is quite popular in Hong Kong. They even served the duck with plum sauce! Plus points for that. The interior of the place is bright and modern, and the staff was pleasant.

We ordered their soy chicken, crispy lechon, roasted barbecue, and roasted duck.

This is the place to go when you’re craving for juicy authentic HK roasts!

Their branding is very HK-esque. Enjoyed the food but the service was slow and we waited a long time before our food was out. For the portion size, I don't think the price was worth it. Still yummy anyway.

Last month, we ordered Roasted Pork Barbecue and Crispy Lechon to go for my dad's birthday, which might be the reason why I forgot to write a review for this awesome resto. But it's better late than never because this place deserves all the 5 stars I can give. Their Roasted Pork Barbecue was really good and serving size is just right but it's their Crispy Lechon that is to-die-for because it's THE BEST CRISPY LECHON I've tried so far! If I ever want anything for my birthday next year, it'll be this. Thank you.

Hong Kong Little Kitchen is a quaint resto in San Juan serving HK classics. I frequent the carwash place across the street and it’s become a habit of mine to dine here while waiting. Among their roast meats, I’ve only tried the charsiu pork, lechon macau and roast duck. Thought their charsiu pork was good - tender and flavorful with just the right amount of fat - but the rest was just ok.

I had dinner here with my friend a while ago and we had the Peking Duck and White Chicken Combo Plate, Shrimp Noodles, and Spicy Shrimp Dumplings.
The White Chicken was good, the ginger sauce even better. I always look for the “clean taste” whenever I eat white chicken and this definitely had it. As for the Peking Duck, it was okay, skin was crispy but the meat was dry - the sauce it came with compensated the dryness. I had to include the rice, Im not sure if it was just our order but it was too mushy, a little bit on the overcooked side, I know Chicken Rice is supposed to be a little bit wet, but this was different.
The Shrimp Noodles were good, broth had the “clean taste” as well and the dumplings were really plump and juicy. I really like the small vegetable bites, not sure if those were celery or garlic haha but it’s so good. The Noodles were good, a little bit chewy just the way I like my noodles to be.
The best - Spicy Shrimp Dumplings, they arent even kidding with “spicy” haha! Same with what’s in the noodles but you have to put a little bit of soy and ask for their yummy red vinegar and if you still have some ginger sauce left, put all of those on top of the dumplings. Soooo damn good! Reminds me of the XLBs in Taiwan.

Service is good, everyone’s polite and courteous. Ordering and getting the bill were fast naman.

Location - we actually got lost trying to find it haha but maybe because we were just not familiar with the area.

Lastly, I dont know if it was just me but it was really warm inside. Their AC was also turned off, not sure if a customer asked for it, but I got a little uncomfortable because of it.

Overall, it has close flavor to Binondo. If you dont want the fuss and traffic going to Ongpin, you can just opt for this one. (Plus you can have some Pan de Manila Popsicles after - it’s just beside this restaurant lol)

Im really not a fan of roastings because I thought they wouldnt offer anything new and they taste the same no matter where you dine.

However, I was pleasantly surprised with this little kitchen because they serve tender, savory roasts, big servings and definitely worth the price youre paying for it. Their roast pork bbq has the right amount of sweetness (i drench mine in chili oil just because I love that kick) and tenderness. Sometimes the fear in ordering these roast is getting dry, hard pieces of meat. This is totally NOT the case at this place. The meats are juicy AF. ❤

Their soy meñu is not bland and you would get a lot per serving. They offer pig's tongue, intestine, ear, etc. Again, i drench mine in chili oil just because it goes so well with it.

They also offer other ala carte dishes--- chinese food you would see in other chinese restaurants, which are also worth trying. Definitely try their special fried rice. This may even be "ulam on its own". 👍

The place is small, but quaint. The place is bright and clean. Definitely an inviting environment to dine in. Will keep coming back to this place.

I always find myself coming back to this place! I personally get sick of Chinese food easily but this is an exception. Everyone I bring here loves it!

The place is clean and has unique interiors especially for a Chinese restaurant— it gives such good and happy vibe and is very fitting for millennials who are fond of taking pictures for instagram. Packed during peak hours and parking is limited so be sure to go early! Small but not terrible at all. 4.5/5

The food. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it! The HK Barbecue (Char Siu) is my personal favorite. Juicy and flavorful the moment you take your first bite. I also recommend their lechon macau, roast duck, and beef kenchi noodles! Also don’t forget to taste their sweet and sour pork and their pork buns to finish a flavorful meal. Taste is always consistent. Their house blend iced tea is my favorite beverage as well! It goes so well with their food. 5/5

Serving size is extremely generous considering the price. Affordable food that makes you feel like you’re dining in Hong Kong. 5/5

The servers are very friendly and approachable. They seem to be really passionate and knowledgeable about the food, which really helps when you have questions or requests. You can really tell that they love what they do. 5/5

Take-outs are also available and the food is just as good but I prefer you dine in to get the whole HK Little Kitchen experience.

Overall 5/5 for this restaurant. Hoping that they branch out so more people get to witness this amazing experience!

We dined here after getting a haircut at Dapper Don's. We ordered chefs fried rice, sweet and sour pork and chicken chops.

Fired rice - tasty, served hot, good for two if your are hungry but serves three.

Sweet and sour pork - This tastes like the one in Relax for a while restaurant in TST, HK. The pork is a bit chewy, but tasty. I recommend that they lessen the sweetness alittle. served hot also

Chicken chops - perfectly seasoned, not greasy, right amount of serving, served hot.

Waiters were also attentive to our requests and needs. Although I have to recommend that they thoroughly wipe their floors as the floors are slippery and might cause accidents especially for senior citizens. I also recommend that they maintain their toilet because it was dirty when we visited.

Glad we got in early (12:10pm or so) on a Friday as soon after, there were no more seats! Hong Kong Little Kitchen seemed to be a popular takeout place. My husband and I both got a combination plate (char siu and white chicken) and shared an order of roasted pork. I have to say that this place is very good! My husband thinks though that the plate is a bit small but taste wise, we are very happy. We asked for additional scallion and ginger sauce, our favorite and we were served it immediately.
