How exciting to find a restaurant that serves authentic Cantonese cuisine! I was impressed that roasted duck was on the menu, as this isn’t typically served in other Chinese restaurants but is quite popular in Hong Kong. They even served the duck with plum sauce! Plus points for that. The interior of the place is bright and modern, and the staff was pleasant.
We ordered their soy chicken, crispy lechon, roasted barbecue, and roasted duck.
This is the place to go when you’re craving for juicy authentic HK roasts!
Their branding is very HK-esque. Enjoyed the food but the service was slow and we waited a long time before our food was out. For the portion size, I don't think the price was worth it. Still yummy anyway.
Last month, we ordered Roasted Pork Barbecue and Crispy Lechon to go for my dad's birthday, which might be the reason why I forgot to write a review for this awesome resto. But it's better late than never because this place deserves all the 5 stars I can give. Their Roasted Pork Barbecue was really good and serving size is just right but it's their Crispy Lechon that is to-die-for because it's THE BEST CRISPY LECHON I've tried so far! If I ever want anything for my birthday next year, it'll be this. Thank you.
Hong Kong Little Kitchen is a quaint resto in San Juan serving HK classics. I frequent the carwash place across the street and it’s become a habit of mine to dine here while waiting. Among their roast meats, I’ve only tried the charsiu pork, lechon macau and roast duck. Thought their charsiu pork was good - tender and flavorful with just the right amount of fat - but the rest was just ok.
Food is good, but the highlight would be the very accommodating and friendly staff 💯
I had dinner here with my friend a while ago and we had the Peking Duck and White Chicken Combo Plate, Shrimp Noodles, and Spicy Shrimp Dumplings.
The White Chicken was good, the ginger sauce even better. I always look for the “clean taste” whenever I eat white chicken and this definitely had it. As for the Peking Duck, it was okay, skin was crispy but the meat was dry - the sauce it came with compensated the dryness. I had to include the rice, Im not sure if it was just our order but it was too mushy, a little bit on the overcooked side, I know Chicken Rice is supposed to be a little bit wet, but this was different.
The Shrimp Noodles were good, broth had the “clean taste” as well and the dumplings were really plump and juicy. I really like the small vegetable bites, not sure if those were celery or garlic haha but it’s so good. The Noodles were good, a little bit chewy just the way I like my noodles to be.
The best - Spicy Shrimp Dumplings, they arent even kidding with “spicy” haha! Same with what’s in the noodles but you have to put a little bit of soy and ask for their yummy red vinegar and if you still have some ginger sauce left, put all of those on top of the dumplings. Soooo damn good! Reminds me of the XLBs in Taiwan.
Service is good, everyone’s polite and courteous. Ordering and getting the bill were fast naman.
Location - we actually got lost trying to find it haha but maybe because we were just not familiar with the area.
Lastly, I dont know if it was just me but it was really warm inside. Their AC was also turned off, not sure if a customer asked for it, but I got a little uncomfortable because of it.
Overall, it has close flavor to Binondo. If you dont want the fuss and traffic going to Ongpin, you can just opt for this one. (Plus you can have some Pan de Manila Popsicles after - it’s just beside this restaurant lol)
Im really not a fan of roastings because I thought they wouldnt offer anything new and they taste the same no matter where you dine.
However, I was pleasantly surprised with this little kitchen because they serve tender, savory roasts, big servings and definitely worth the price youre paying for it. Their roast pork bbq has the right amount of sweetness (i drench mine in chili oil just because I love that kick) and tenderness. Sometimes the fear in ordering these roast is getting dry, hard pieces of meat. This is totally NOT the case at this place. The meats are juicy AF. ❤
Their soy meñu is not bland and you would get a lot per serving. They offer pig's tongue, intestine, ear, etc. Again, i drench mine in chili oil just because it goes so well with it.
They also offer other ala carte dishes--- chinese food you would see in other chinese restaurants, which are also worth trying. Definitely try their special fried rice. This may even be "ulam on its own". 👍
The place is small, but quaint. The place is bright and clean. Definitely an inviting environment to dine in. Will keep coming back to this place.
I always find myself coming back to this place! I personally get sick of Chinese food easily but this is an exception. Everyone I bring here loves it!
The place is clean and has unique interiors especially for a Chinese restaurant— it gives such good and happy vibe and is very fitting for millennials who are fond of taking pictures for instagram. Packed during peak hours and parking is limited so be sure to go early! Small but not terrible at all. 4.5/5
The food. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it! The HK Barbecue (Char Siu) is my personal favorite. Juicy and flavorful the moment you take your first bite. I also recommend their lechon macau, roast duck, and beef kenchi noodles! Also don’t forget to taste their sweet and sour pork and their pork buns to finish a flavorful meal. Taste is always consistent. Their house blend iced tea is my favorite beverage as well! It goes so well with their food. 5/5
Serving size is extremely generous considering the price. Affordable food that makes you feel like you’re dining in Hong Kong. 5/5
The servers are very friendly and approachable. They seem to be really passionate and knowledgeable about the food, which really helps when you have questions or requests. You can really tell that they love what they do. 5/5
Take-outs are also available and the food is just as good but I prefer you dine in to get the whole HK Little Kitchen experience.
Overall 5/5 for this restaurant. Hoping that they branch out so more people get to witness this amazing experience!
We dined here after getting a haircut at Dapper Don's. We ordered chefs fried rice, sweet and sour pork and chicken chops.
Fired rice - tasty, served hot, good for two if your are hungry but serves three.
Sweet and sour pork - This tastes like the one in Relax for a while restaurant in TST, HK. The pork is a bit chewy, but tasty. I recommend that they lessen the sweetness alittle. served hot also
Chicken chops - perfectly seasoned, not greasy, right amount of serving, served hot.
Waiters were also attentive to our requests and needs. Although I have to recommend that they thoroughly wipe their floors as the floors are slippery and might cause accidents especially for senior citizens. I also recommend that they maintain their toilet because it was dirty when we visited.
Glad we got in early (12:10pm or so) on a Friday as soon after, there were no more seats! Hong Kong Little Kitchen seemed to be a popular takeout place. My husband and I both got a combination plate (char siu and white chicken) and shared an order of roasted pork. I have to say that this place is very good! My husband thinks though that the plate is a bit small but taste wise, we are very happy. We asked for additional scallion and ginger sauce, our favorite and we were served it immediately.
Hong Kong Little Kitchen offers one of the most amazing HK BBQ and Lechon Macau. Whats different here is that they put some adobo-like sauce over the rice with half an adobo egg. However, their wanton soup is just average. You'd come here for the roasts
The roast duck and lechon were so flavorful! can be comparable to orig HK roasting place! Though the beef curry was a bit heavy to eat. Overall, super okay for the price!
We've witnessed a growth spurt in the international food scene with more foreign brands coming in the metro these past few years. On top of that, there are also local shops that offer our favorite sushi, pizza, noodles and burgers. And with more restaurants to choose from, it can be challenging to discover the ones worth your money (and limited tummy space). Thankfully, I got to know this under the radar shop in New Manila that offers great Hong Kong cuisine.
I really like their roasted barbecue, I think it's one of the best I've tried in the city. It's visually appealing, tender and has good flavor. Compared to other places, theirs is a bit more fatty.
The pork ear was just okay. Spicy wanton was no good - completely different from what I was hoping it would be. The crispy lechon was not crispy at all. It was also a bit dry.

Legit hongkese cuisine uncovered. Food is spot on thats why it gets easily full during peak hours. It has a small floor area so only a few can be accomodated inside. Parking is limited too.
Must order the spicy kutchay, best ever!
Yum, yum, yummm! This is what roasted dreams are made of. We ordered the barbecue asado and roast duck. Both were juicy and flavorful, with sweetness from the plum sauce. The noodles were al dente, topped with a savory brown sauce and a sprinkling of garlic bits.
The shrimp wantons were really good and succulent too. I almost always dip them in toyomansi, but they're so good that they didn't need it. I'm coming back for sure. :)
Our newest favorite go to place whenever we want something to eat especially during our midnight snacks and whenever we crave for some Asado. They offer good tasting Asado and if you may ask, yes we eat rice during on our midnight snack. I always eat my dinner very late since my badminton game starts at dinner time and ends near midnight already.
Great food for a great price. Loved the service and was very accommodating. The roasted duck exceeds expectations, and has other wonderful selections.
Food 4; service 4; ambience 3; price 4. We were a group of 6 and half loved the food and half said it was okay. I loved that the food tasted fresh - kutchay dumplings, veggies, the broth. I love egg noodles but they normally leave a bitter aftertaste, but not the noodles they serve. My favorite is the beef tendon noodle. We enjoyed the roasted duck and pork. If you want heavy tasting noodle house style food where everything has been boiling for ages, this is probably not your place. But take away the bitter aftertaste, the funkiness of the meat and organs, this place is a must try and worth the travel and wait (yes expect a long queue during peak hours). Well, there’s always take away.
Best restaurant ever! The duck, lechon macau, and premium asado, are all very delicious. My friend always orders the special beef kenchi noodles and it is also another great dish :)

I liked this more than my visit to Kam’s Roast in Mega Mall. I didn’t have a good first experience in Kam’s so I haven’t been back to see if maybe I’d like it the second time around. But our first visit here in HK Little Kitchen was very pleasant. The male server/s assigned to our table was/were very efficient. Sad that we didn’t have the Lechon Macau because the stock had just run out and they were cooking a new batch but it would take an hour. Nevertheless we enjoyed our orders very much and the price point is reasonable. The rice sets are very affordable from less than ₱200 to less than ₱300 only. What we did to be able to try more meats is to order a rice set each and then additional dishes. I had the roast duck and my companion had the soy chicken, both were good. And we ordered 1/4 of the Hk Bbq (char siu) and it was so good and tender. If you like spicy/ chili, go for the spicy wonton too like we did.
We arrived late lunch on a weekday so we did not have problems with parking nor seating. But the place is small so I would imagine it to be packed during peak hours so be there early at non-peak/odd hours and days. Also saw a lot of take out happening so that’s another option too. Limited parking but at least there is parking unlike other small establishments.
They also have a (very small) comfort room outside the restuarant but within the building for their customers but unfortunately it’s not so clean / wet. Maybe there should be someone assigned to check on it every hour or so for maintenance.
Cash only accepted as payment. I hope they acceot credit card soon too.
Will we be back? Yes! I need to get my hands on that Lechon and have another go at their yummy char siu (the waiter said there is also premium char siu but it was also out of stock at the time of our visit).
Bitin lang kasi walang dessert on the menu (if I’m not mistaken), sayang!
P.S. Their house blend iced tea is quite sour bordering on calamansi juice than iced tea in my opinion. I didn’t hate it but didn’t like it either and not ordering it again. Although I can imagine some people who would so it’s not bad, it’s just different. It’s refreshing though, just wish it was a tad bit sweeter.
Look no further. I’ve always craved for the asado dishes in Hong Kong specifically at HK Island where you can find several establishments with their famous pork roasts. I couldn’t forget the sweet sauce and that alone is so good with the steaming rice. Now it’s finally here in Quezon City! They really got it right and close if not really authentic to the HK dish. I’ve been there twice already and will always come back for more! The servings are very generous too for a 1/4 order and good for 2 persons already. Looking forward to try the authentic nai cha (milktea) in the future when it is available and other dishes too!
Got there early to avoid waiting.
Duck is delicious.
Wonton noodle, wonton tastes good. Noodle still a bit tough.
Soy chicken and lechon macau rice, soy chicken very tough, dont get the breast part. Lechon too fatty but tastes good.
Tofu good.
Barbecue is delicious.
Place has nice interiors, clean and servers are attentive.
I will drive through 2 hrs of traffic for this place. Not only is the duck roast TO DIE for but the prices are super competitive and you can tell that the staff is genuine in their service. The best in the city!

I don’t know if the food was really that yummy or we were just really hungry, but it was a great meal for us. We had the roast duck, asado, steamed chili shrimp wanton, and fried rice.
The roastings were cooked to perfection, chopped well. Easy to eat ‘yung roast duck, hindi mahirap i-debone. Asado was not fatty, tasted sweet though with crunchy roasted ends. Steamed chili wanton was my lowkey favorite. I don’t know how it became shrimp, pero basta masarap. Fried rice was an easy winner. Can’t expound as much pero we were all happy after the meal. Yummy! We had the food taken out, by the way.
Eitherway, I’d go back to try their lechon macau next time.
