Via Mare is the first restaurant that comes to my mind whenever I have to set a meeting in the Diliman area. The quality of their food is consistently good, and their servers always, always serve with a smile. My favourites are their pakô salad, their monggo soup, and their pinaputok na tilapia! And of course, there’s their irresistible bibingka! Just writing about their food makes me feel like driving to Via Mare right now!
I love the service
I love the chairs , they're so comfy. All Their food is delicious. Unfortunately it's quite expensive. The chicken Inasal is so small that once it's served you'll think that you got 3 sticks of fish ball.
The variety is limited. I think it went down through the years. When I was younger they had the best calamari but it isn't on the menu anymore.
Parking is easy
Ambiance is average
Overall it's the perfect place to go when you want delectable Filipino food and don't care about it's Instaworthyness or price
I first ate here when I had my entrance exam in UP. Staffs are easy to approach since they only customers they have when I visited are two groups, food are hot and delicious too, it is kinda pricey for Filipino food but it's worth it.

I'm a fan of their food, but not their service. Every time I go here, I just think about the good food they serve and try to ignore the fact that their servers / attendants are not the best at their job. If they can only improve their service, then they'll get a perfect rating from me.
My recommended dishes are:
1. Salpicado - I order this EVERY SINGLE TIME. This is a big hit for me as I love its taste and the generous serving. It even comes with fried lumpia with veggies inside. Highly recommended.
2. Crispy Vigan Longganisa - This pandesal sandwich is the perfect snack for garlic lovers like me.
3. Vigan Longganisa - For a hearty breakfast.
4. Bibingka - Just yummy!
5. Puto bumbong - Delish!
Ambiance is good for short meetings and meet-ups but most of the time the place is crowded. They serve big portions for most of the food in their menu.
My favorite is the ginataang halo halo which is good for two. They serve it hot and is not too sweet for me.
The resto also serves affordable student set meals because the cafe is housed in the Asian Center and is near UP Law.
Overall, a recommended place if you're craving for Filipino food.
We go here for meetings, especially for breakfast meetings. They open as early as 7am. They have attentive staff and they give generous servings of food. They also have budget meals which is affordable for students!
Delicious Filipino food and the ambience is perfect for a lazy Sunday brunch. The place is cold so bring your jacket. Most of the customers are old people because it also doubles as a cafe.
We had the sinigang which was hot and flavorful. I personally liked the pork bingoongan as it was cooked just right to get the perfect tenderness. The tapa was crispy and flavorful but methinks they served just a bit too little of their tasty achara.
To top things off, I had their cassava cake which was absolutely nice. Full tummy for me.
The service was also quick and the servers very accommodating. Great place to bring your family.
I love their putobumbong with muscovado and niyog! I love their palitaw with niyog!
I love their bibingka witty salted egg and niyog!
I love their monngo soup!
I love their dilis rice meal!
I love their torta!
I love their salpicao!
I love everything about via mare...
While waiting for a break for delegates to visit our both in an event at GT Toyota called Aspire we took a quick brunch pit stop here.
It's a great go to place for brunch with a bunch of their affordable desserts and appetizers. So we had a semi of sorts and ordered quite a lot.
Not all were good, some were decent and three dishes stood out. Overall more than a passing score. Must try includes their best selling Pancit Luglog, Bibingka and Ginataang Halo Halo.
This place deserves a big thumbs up! Just with the coziness and the design and how clean and bright the place is. Plus the parking space is spacious and for free. The waiters are all happy to serve you with those smiling faces. The food is very delicious too! I love their sinigang na hipon and the crispy pata that is very crispy and flavorful. Plus the salads have very good dressing! Only negative side is that they don't offer much on the desserts side but over all, I will definitely go back here :) ps. Wasn't able to take photos because we were so hungry already!!! 🍴🍴🍴
