Had a pleasant dining experience here during my unit's Christmas get-together bonding session. Their rice servings are like a meal by itself. You however cannot go wrong with their wide selection of viands such as Crispy Pata, Sisig, plus the surprisingly good curried vegetables. Must go back and give the other dishes a try.
The food tasted good specially their sisig! The seafood kare kare, dinuguan and fried rice also tasted delicious. Great place when you are craving for Filipino food.
One of the best Filipino Restaurant I have encountered so far! Their Crispy Dinuguan and Aligue Rice are to die for!! I love how huge the serving of the rice is, and for a plus size person who loves to eat, I cannot finish it! Besides the serving the presentation is very appetizing to look at, that I cannot wait to dig in... the Crispy Dinuguan needs more sass in their presentation, but I guess I understand, dinuguan is dinuguan, the color is black,... they probably, even I, will have a hard time thinking of ways to liven' it up... the taste anyway redeemed the dish! I can't wait to taste their other dishes when or if I get back here!... Or I will still get the tried and tested. Either way I have a feeling I will be very satisfied.
P.s. Their staffs are very friendly and accomodating too!
My very first visit in this branch as I recall, I was with two of my girl friends and we just ordered Crispy dinuguan and a lot of rice hahaha maybe because of generous servings before. Anyway, from then, Crispy dinuguan became one of my favorites.
I've been coming to this resto for about twice now. My first dine in here was an awful experience and made me say to myself "I'm never eating here again".
First Visit:
Ordered Sinigang Rice and Crispy Dinuguan. Since I was dining here for the first time, I gave the power to order for everyone to my co-worker. BAD DECISION! Hated everything about those 2 dishes. Together, those 2 dishes did not taste great. My colleagues were so happy with the dishes ordered but I wasn't.
The staff were very nice by the way. Despite the bad food choices, the attentive staff and calming atmosphere of the resto were a win in my heart
Second Visit (a few months after):
A new set of co-workers pulled the hesitant me to have lunch at Kanin Club. I said to myself, don't order those 2 together. Good thing, I had the confidence to order what I like this time around.
We ordered Aligue Rice and Pork Sisig. "PUTOK BATOK" INDEED. A sinful of a pairing but what a great sin to commit. The rice was very flavorful and soft. The pork sisig was well pork sisig, authentic. Those two combined made me say " I have to come back here again".
Staff were as friendly as always. Restaurant was as pleasant as the previous visit. I understand why this one is always pack of customers.
Lesson learned. Never judge a resto just from your first visit. Give it another chance and switch up your order. It might just be your next favorite.
Food 4/5
Price for food 3.5/5
Ambience 4/5
Service 5/5
Ambience here is good. Everything we had that night was great you would only find it quite expensive and less serving.
The restaurant has "traditional Filipino house" interiors. The food is really good, but is also quite expensive. Their crispy dinuguan is definitely a must-try.
Service is okay.
What we ordered:
Mains:
Aligue rice
Seafood kare-kare
Laing
Bistek
Tapa
Tom yum goong
Dessert:
Maruya with ice cream
Turon
Everything we ordered was super good! I was surprised actually. This restau far exceeded my expectations. Food was not disappointing at all! Plus their service was efficient too.
The only thing I’d recommend to change would probably be the enthusiasm of the staff. 😅
Overall great dining experience here in Kanin Club 👍🏻
I love their seafood kare-kare. Mushroom ala pobre - I hope they could consider the fresh buttonmushroom next time.

My ratings are indicated under each dish😊 my favorite is the crab omelette and the hototai soup. Yum!
I would not recommend their lemon chicken. It tasted really plain. The tangy lemon flavor was just not present. Also, the bistek pinoy was frustrating. It’s leaning more on the adobo side rather than the beefsteak side.
