Ebi King is a winner! As described with special shrimp oil and dried shrimp powder, the flavor is amazing! I enjoyed eating this dish because it was also my first time to be given a ramen bib. It made perfect sense considering the flying seafood broth I made during slurps. If you love slurping out of shrimp heads, this place creates that experience in the form of ramen. I'm extremely happy with this flavor, and whether this dish is temporary or permanent, I'm sure to return for more ramen. Thank you to Gilbert for good service and offering water. (Water is alkaline because I noticed the lemon in the pitcher.) - for SM Aura branch, Sept. 2017 Great job as well for Greenbelt 3!

The best so far.. i walked from my hotel to MOA twice a day just to enjoy their savory one of the best ramen. I know it's a very busy place but one thing that I noticed is the staffs are just too busy taking oreders, forgets to smile and slow down to create a emotional connections with customers. I don't see them go back to the table and asked about the food and everything else. One of the lady that works there, she must be on management and she doesn't even interact with customers. I rated them with five stars on food taste and quality but two on customer service.

#R5Reviews: Butao Ramen Nagi

Customize your own ramen. Upon ordering, fill out their Omotenashi sheet to mix and match everything. From the creaminess of the soup base (light to rich), part of the pork (belly or shoulder), size of the noodles (thick or thin) up to the level of spice using their butao homemade fire sauce (1 to 10 spicy). The ambience is designed like a local shop in Japan (Nakikita ko lang sa anime and series HAHA. Soon!). Feel na feel kumain. ITADAKIMASU!

One of the ramen joints I go to when I’m craving for one.

It’s not the top ramen for me but it’s in the top 5.

I like how they give diners some freedom to customize their own bowl.

Red king is my go to bowl. I like my ramen a bit rich so the butao is not for me.

Ramen Nagi Manila opens its 20th branch in Eastwood Citywalk! We celebrated its grand launch by having a feast of some of the bestsellers, as well as new dishes, from the Ramen Nagi Menu. Ramen Nagi Opens in Eastwood Citywalk Libis. Apart from the grand opening of Ramen Nagi Eastwood, our favorite ramen shop launches one its new limited kings this February 1 to 15, 2019: the Sausage King. This bowl of ramen includes a rich pork broth with a huge Hungarian sausage, salami and coleslaw! The taste reminded me of a Tex-Mex platter with a generous size to match!

If you have some ramen cravings, this place is one of the best to be in! Their ramen is just so flavorful and yummy! I remember being here, eating some hot ramen despite the hot weather and i still came out all too satisfied!

It's always a pleasure to dine in here in Ramen Nagi! In every branch I go to, the warmth and energy of the people there are very consistent. Service in this specific branch was really quick!

I really love their KARAAGE and their SAUSAGE RAMEN. Of course, among all the classics, I still would choose BUTAO KING! I will never get tired of this ramen! My comfort food!

What I like about this branch is that they close a bit late compared to the rest. Perfect place to dine in after having drinks with friends! To me, this is the PERFECT HANGOVER FOOD as well!

Have you guys been here already? If not, GO FOR IT! :D

This is a newly ramen nagi branched that opened late 2018. Tried the original butao King (390) and midori King (410). I prefer the original tonkotsu broth of butao king, instead of midori king's version with parsley, olive oil and cheese. The later smells like pesto, which made the broth to rich and thick. Service here was good as they ask if there was a birthday celebrant in our table during the month, and explained that she'll get free butao king.

Team lunch at the newly-opened branch of Ramen Nagi in Eastwood Citywalk.

Most of my teammates ain’t new to eating ramen as we’re usually in Kuroda or Ippudo whenever we crave for a hot bowl of ramen. So, it’s nice to have Nagi in Eastwood as we’d have more options for places that serve decent ramen.

This time, I tried Red King which has that luscious and savory broth with hints of spicy flavor. I just went for the normal or basic level in terms of soup-base. Went for hard firmness of the noodles as I enjoyed it like that. It’s not as spicy as I thought it would be, or maybe that’s just my tolerance for spicy food? Well, I still like it and what I really like with Ramen Nagi is you’ll get immense serving of ramen. And look at that Pork Bellyyyy!!! 😍😍😍

Some of my colleagues went for the Black King and the Butao King. We also ordered for Nori to pair with our ramen, and chicken karaage. Everyone seems to love the food especially with their choice of ramen.

Ramen Nagi used to be my local favorite ramen place before I’ve tried Mendokoro, and yes, it ranks above Ippudo, in my opinion.

Well, I cannot really describe the ramen’s strengths and points for improvement because you basically choose the specifications on your own, whether the noodles would be hard or soft, whether the pork cut would be belly or shoulder, whether the sauce would be rich or not, whether the garlic would be rich or not, and what not. So, it’s really at your own volition whether you like your own choices.

As for the broth, I usually get the Butao King. While it is a bit nakakaumay, the savory taste of the broth truly satisfies one’s cravings. Some of my friends say it tastes like balut, well, that’s another unique way to describe it. Parang buto-buto, pinakuluan, with balut essence, then niconcentrate. Haha. Masarap naman.

Pork shoulder cuts are lean. Service was okay. The tamago though, they serve it uncut, plus normal ramen doesn’t have tamago. You need to order it with added costs.

Still one of the better ramen places in the Metro.

Tried their Sausage King, their Limited King for the first half of February. It was good but take away the large sausage and the salami and it's just soup with coleslaw. It is an interesting thing to turn into ramen, however. Their Aurora Shrimp isn't practical to order unless you're really hankering for shrimp (P370 for like six or seven pieces of breaded shrimp).

Not my first time eating at Ramen Nagi but it was my first time at this newly opened branch. It was dinnertime at Valentine's Day so the long line was expected but the lady in charge of reception could have done a better job by asking customers putting their names in for the queue whether they were okay with a table outside, because there were three unoccupied outdoor tables. Another client and I had to proactively tell her after a few minutes of waiting that we were fine being seated outside. Two cons to this decision, though, were the loud music coming from Taqueria 101 and how there was, I think, only one waiter assigned to be on standby to tend to the outdoor area. Took us a really long time to get our change and receipt.

Their service could definitely be improved. Not their first branch so for sure they could learn the other branches' best practices. I still would come back for their Butao and Pork Tonkatsu Rolls though.
