Hansik Korean Restaurant

This is our go-to Korean restaurant. Besides the fact that their unli beef and pork is cheaper than other Korean restaurants, their side dishes are also delicious :) They have cheese na rin.

With all the Korean places popping up, I recommend this restaurant. No fancy gimmicks. Just good food. If you're looking for a quick Korean cuisine fix, this is the place to go. Not only is it affordable, it is flavorful, and the serving size is generous.

Pos: Came here for a hot bowl of soy bean paste soup on a rainy evening, which was really nice. Side dishes were good, too.
Neg: Place was really old and there were a few leaks from the ceiling which made some tables unusable and uncomfortable.

I love the korean food here. Always reminds me of my korean trip. The food is great. I especially love the fish cake soup. The only turn down herr ia that they only accepts cash. But its not a big deal

This korean restaurant is quite a hidden gem! It's kind of hard to find because of the two construction zones going on on both sides of the road. They were smack dab in the middle poor them (frankly speaking the government takes too long with road construction and really ruins businesses) anyway! I was really reluctant to eat here at first but thank god my friend insisted!!! The food was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! We ordered two types of grilled pork, pork backbone soup, seafood pancakes and cheese ttoboki. Everything arrived in good time and they grilled the pork at a table near us. The servings were really big and cheap considering the price. The soup was one of the highlights of the night. It was very flavorful and had a nice spicy kick to it. I couldn't stop taking sips of it throughout our meal. The cheese ttboki was really good too. And if you look at the pics I am sure you will agree with me when I say that is one big plate! The rice cakes were spicy and the cheese was on the dish cuts through the spice with a nice melty creminess. The seafood pancakes were abit of a disappointment especially since it came last and first few dishes were yummtastic! They were abit too doughy and tasteless. The grilled pork dishes were very good and had nice flavor, the galbi could be less sweet but if you eat it the usual way with rice and lettuce then it's fine. The banchans that came were good as well. My favorite was the boiled egg with some kind of soy based sauce on it and the potatoes were yum! My least favorite dish of the night was actually the steamed eggs that come free cuz of the really strong salty flavor it was like licking salt. After our meal my friend ordered a dish of soup and boiled pork leg (pata tim) as a meal for the next day. The pork leg was delicious and incredibly soft. I used a pair of chopsticks to eat and I could get some meat without any effort!!! The greatest compliments to the chef!!! I can't wait to have some of the soup again! Hopefully on a cold rainy night ( i think it would be the best comfort food ever!!!)
