Chinese restaurant in Timog circle serving delicious hand-pulled noodles and dumplings until 3AM. Great for supper/late night noodle cravings.
I like that this store is open until late night. Reasonably priced and tasty Chinese dishes. Attentive staff but the place is a bit old and sad looking. The management should renovate the place to attract new customers.
My go to place when i crave for noodles, ordered their buns and siomai too, everything was surprisingly good! Would definitely go back and try some other things on the menu.
San Seh has been successfully thriving for 7 years? Comparable to the restaurants in Binondo, they serve the best hand pulled noodles with generous servings. No frills just straight forward good Chinese food! Looove them.
This has been my go to place for hand pulled noodles for years. Admittedly my experience with their menu is very limited to noodles, lemon chicken and siopao. But I never get tired of eating those choices of mine.
A hidden gem! Had a chance encounter with San seh, and i didn't regret it a bit. Their food was more than what I paid for. Their pork dimsum was meaty yet clean tasting, the pork fat balanced by minced onion leaves inside. Their noodles was freshly made and neither salty nor pungent. Meanwhile, their beancurd was delicately wrapped in fried tofu and wad definitely flavorful!
Must try: Braised beef with wanton noodles! Or your choice if you want rice, either will be good! Great place for people working late as this shop is open until 3:00 AM.
The simplicity of this place belies the great homey Chinese noodles it serves. Just like most of the restaurants in Binondo, SanSeh puts more premium on its food than on ambience. And for me, it's perfectly okay because their hand-pulled noodles, definitely, won't disappoint. I will surely comeback to taste their other offerings.
You'll love it for the simplicity. We went here late at night when we were all tired and just wanted warm broth for our tummies. It was surprisingly good, if you're sick of overly rich ramen this place you will find quite refreshing. The place isn't posh but it's definitely worth a try if you're a fan of hand pulled noodles.
A simple place but delicious food. I based my rate on the taste and prices.
We ordered the ff:
1. Kuchay dumplings - They were good. Generous filling. Pour some black vinegar on it and it's good. Eat this fast because the wrapper can get dry after 20mins or so.
2. Beef and Wanton noodle soup - Good for sharing size. Very tasty. The hand-pulled noodles were plenty and the wanton was superb! I liked it. We requested for a soup refill and that was accommodated.
3. Beancurd Roll - 3 pcs in quantity only but with all the food that we had (only 2 of us), we were not able to finish all. A shame because I liked this dumpling too.
The prices were fair and the food was good. For the service, not so exemplary but hey, the food will make you come back. All is good then. 😊
