My favorite Filipino noodle recipe is Pancit Luglog this noodle dish is similar to Pancit Palabok. The main difference is the type of noodles used and the Pancit Luglog is the more saucy dish between the two. Pancit Lulog uses thick rice noodles and is typically served with sliced pork on top, egg, crispy chicharon, sliced pusit and sprinkle with chopped fresh onion leaves to give a meatier flavor to the dish. Must try this! Thumbs up to VIA MARE 👍
The OIC of the restaurant was able to immediately resolve the mix-up on orders. Keep up the good work!
Good and consistent bibingka! Not as comfy as other Via mare but located inside landmark building on the quiet side of things! Okay service and always have a seat available
I am not a huge fan of Filipino food, but my mom loves Via Mare, because she misses Filipino cuisine, so everytime she visits the Philippines, this is her go-to place.
She is a huge fan of their pancit, puto bumbong, and oysters. However, during her last visit, she ordered Oysters Neapolitan instead of the Rockefeller ones.
Neapolitan was too salty.
This resto is nestled within the comforts of the Landmark Department Store so it is a bit secluded, and perfect for titas who want to enjoy a moment of afternoon chikahan.
Before heading for the movies this evening, we decided to have an early dinner at 6 pm. I tried the Arroz A la Cubana at Via Mare Shangri-La Mall and it was good. Tonight, the Arroz Caldo caught my eye and the Tokwa at Baboy. So, we ordered 2 Arroz Caldo, Tokwa at Baboy, Fresh Orange Juice and Iced Tea. The Arroz Caldo was superb and had a substantial amount of chicken meat. The Tokwa at Baboy were just mediocre. The house blend iced tea was refreshing.

I find this branch of Cafe Via Mare rather strange. I mean it’s in the middle of Landmark Department Store and quite hidden. It also shows some signs of aging and lack of cleaning and maintenance.
Service is also so-so. Some waiters are not friendly and not attentive to their patrons’ needs and requests.
To be fair, though, food is still good. I like their beef salpicado for lunch and bibingka with cheese for merienda.
Love love love the puto bumbong, bibingka, shooters and and of course, the brewed coffee! Palabok is a bit pricey but still great, highly recommended hidden gem inside the dep store. 😊
We eat here every now and then especially when I crave for their Kare-kare. I also like the Pancit Luglog. Some of their food are good enough for sharing.
I also got to try the oysters. I'm not a fan of oysters-there was a time when I ate at a different restaurant and the oysters that they served weren't that fresh. Since then, I've avoided eating them. But the oysters at Via Mare are definitely fresh.
We've always seen Cafe Via Mare inside Landmark in Trinoma and so one Sunday, after attending Sunday Mass and all restaurants outside were filled up, we decided to try this restaurant. Serving time seemed too long for comfort to think that there weren't so many people that time. We ordered Enseladang Bagnet, Tortang Alimasag and for soup we tried the Pancit Molo Soup. The taste of the food were clean and seems like you ate at home. For these orders, I wasn't quite impressed maybe because I got high expectations. We love Bagnet but the one we ordered wasn't that crispy.
Cafe Via Mare is popular for their Filipino merienda so I guess I'll still come back to have a taste of these.
