Place is a bit small as compared to other bars in morato area, i guess we were just lucky yesterday because we came in early and it was only packed with few people. They have excellent service and great food. I love how chill (also talking about the temperature of the place) the bar is. Their quesadilla is a must try. They have big serving and everything is great. Bucket of pale pilsen costs 315. Bottle of water is expensive tho it costs PhP 50.00 (so try to avoid buying this)

The best steak soft tacos I've ever tasted. (Because it was so good i didn't get to take a photo! Haha) There's nothing like it here in the Philippines! I would also recommend their Platters if you have a big group. It has Super nachos, super fries, cheese dippers, quesadilla! Everything on it was so delicious! And for dessert the Turon ala mode!!! Besides good food i love the ambiance (beach vibe) and their staff is very friendly and welcoming even the owners! It's a nice place to chill and hangout with your family and friends! They also serve great drinks like the Frozen margarita. And they have it UNLIMITED!! Would definitely come back!💕

This was our second leg of our Always Hungry Food Crawl, right after a carnivore filled late lunch at nearby Steak 77. This newly opened Californian Mexican bar is situated along Scout Lozano, very near Tomas Morato Street. Mr. Jon Rivera, founder mentioned to us that valet parkers are available at your service.
As you enter you'll immediately feel the vibe and fun California Tacos Beach Bar is willing to give its customers. Their tagline speaks volumes,
'We don't just sell tacos, we sell good times!'
On its walls would be actual people painted. These represent the owners and their close friends on four beaches that Mr. Rivera is mostly fond of, Huntington Beach California, Waikiki Hawaii, Playas De Tijuana Mexico, and our very own, Boracay Philippines. Ask about the Mexican themed masks and a burrito costume as well. You can wear them, we did!
More surprises await when you go further at the back. They have BasketPong game, a cooler variation of Beer Pong.
The humble beginnings here started at a food stall in Metrowalk. Tacos were too good. After a collective rave from their food came interested parties offering to expand this promising concept.
We were first served their Super Fiesta Platter. This unique Mexican ensemble promises to give you a big picture of what they represent. It has best selling Carne Steak Asada, cheese filled Super Nachos, Super Quesadilla and Super Fries, Buffalo Bites, even more cheese on Cheese Dippers with matching own recipe salsa and dips. These supreme offering has a wide range of variety giving you abundant flavors and textures.
Next was four of their Mexican bowls, which has boneless chicken with cabbage and Mexican rice. They have four types going, classic Buffalo, Garlic, Gravy and my top pick, Teriyaki. The oriental Japanese taste has a nice East meets West mixtures.
In California Tacos Beach Bar, there is more to the authentic Mexican vibe than meets the eye. Here they have overflowing with chunks of flavorful meats, fresh tomatoes, real grated cheese, and original secret sauce, their Carne Asada Tacos are more than enough to bring California and Mexico right to your plate.
Since I don't drink alcohol, more so strong ones, I missed out trying their long list of their own curated mixes. It's hard to forget however one drink they call Octopussy, mostly for its brave name. It is a mix of rum, strawberries, and lemon juice, which gives it a sweet and slightly sharp taste.
After all I've shared to you, aren't you excited to check it out yourself. They have more surprises in store as mentioned by Mr. Rivera like themed nights every night and an unlimited Taco offer.

California Tacos Beach bar is the newest place to be in Q.C! Unique vibe just in Tomas Morato. 🏖 The ambiance is great. I would definitely recommend this to foodies and also to those who are looking for a good time for the night life! They serve super good food CARNE STEAK ASADA is the bomb! SUPER NACHOS, SUPER FRIES.. EVERYTHING IS GREAT! I would definitely go back here. 👣🙌🏻💯
Food is awesome! Love their tacos and nachos. Perfect place to relax and perfect spot to celebrate special occasions like birthdays, etc. Place is big enough for a big crowd. You will really think that you are in a beach. They also serve beer and cocktails.

I've been looking for some good Mexican food and drinks in the manila area like how i'm used to in California and now I found the place. All the places I've tried around manila looks like Mexican food, but it doesn't taste anything like how Mexican food is supposed to. Finally found a place that is the best I've tried in the Philippines so far.
I normally drink vodka but i tried the frozen margaritas since i was at a mexican place, i wanted to try a mexican drink haha plus have an unlimited margarita special for P295 for the rocks margaritas & P395 for the unlimited frozen ones. I had both the lime and strawberry frozen margaritas and they were both good. I liked the lime one better, my date liked the strawberry one better. I changed up the flavors every other drink since it was unlimited anyway. I like how they make the frozen margaritas overflowing almost like a volcano.
We shared the mozzarella sticks and buffalo chicken bites for appetizers. the Mozzarella sticks were actually crispy mozzarella sticks not like other restaurants i tried that use a lumpia wrapper and put cheese in it and call it mozzarella sticks haha. Buffalo bites were were sweet with a little bit of kick. They were small bite sized pieces of chicken breast with their Buffalo sauce glazed on it. Not really Mexican food but the girl i was with wanted those for appetizers so we got them.
We also shared the carne Asada steak super nachos/super fries. I asked them make the super nachos with half super fries so we got to eat both. So damn good I am always going to get that every time i come here. I have not found any decent nachos in manila area or even super fries. The other places ive tried uses ground beef and that liquid cheese. That ish ain't nachos. I can't stand that haha. This place uses real slices of steak and grated cheese. There's also a special sauce they put on top that I can't really describe but it tastes pretty good. Me and my friend ate every last piece of it. There was nothing left on the plate haha
In california me and my friends always get the super nachos and super fries after a night of going out drinking so I've really been missing it and searching for a place to satisfy that craving here.
We tried their turon dessert here with ice cream on top. I've never had turon with ice cream. It was a good twist and went well together. The only problem is the ice cream melts so fast so you gotta eat it quickly.
Overall was a nice place to chill and have drinks while eating. We sat in the front bar area. We really felt like we were hanging out at the beach. Would recommend to anyone looking for something different to try with a cool atmosphere. Great place to take a date. We even took pics together wearing their Mexican sombreros. The pics came out really cute. A great memory for us to keep and remember our date. They also have a big room in the back where there was a group celebrating a bday while we were there. They sounded like they were having a blast from all the nonstop laughing we heard.
