Well, the "Beef flights" menu was a great treat especially when it's served in the VIP room. My daughter will never forget her train dessert treat for her birthday tonight! Thank you to kuya Miguel and other staff for the great service!

Seoul Train is me and my siblings’ go-to Korean food place. Although it is pricier than your average Korean grill place, it makes up for their selection of beef choices and delicious food items like their Tteokbokki and Kimchi Bibimbap.

Barbecue is practiced in many areas of the world and there are numerous regional variations. It encompasses multiple types of cooking techniques. The original technique is cooking using smoke at low temperatures. While grilling is done over direct, dry heat, Grilling may be done over wood, charcoal, gas, or electricity. It can refer to the dish itself or the way of cooking meat. In the Philippines we are so accustomed to our usual inihaw na liempo or the chicken inasal. But one type of barbecue that has been capturing the hearts of Filipinos, Korean BBQ!

Price-wise they’re more expensive than the eat-all-you-can Korean joints but their meats are of premium quality. Sidings are freshly cooked. My first time to try their Kimchi Jigae yesterday and I have concluded it to be my favorite so far. It just hit the right spot and had the perfect mix of sweet, spicy and a hint of sourness. The only thing I don’t like is their lack of parking space in the restaurant—one must park along the street when their 3-car parking slot is full. Nevertheless their food is awesome and I will definitely be back.

K-food lovers have a lot of things to look forward to at Seoul Train Korean BBQ, the train-themed resto along Sgt. Esguerra Street in Quezon City:

1. The use of smokeless charcoal grills for the K-BBQ. A lot of the flavor, less of that “amoy-usok”
2. New dishes. Spicy Chicken Feet? Beef Tripe and Intestines in Broth? Spicy Fish Stew? They’re all here, waiting for you hard-core Korean food aficionados.
3. Take-out bento meals. Choose your favorite viand and bring it home in a cute reusable box along with rice, kimchi and fishcake.

Did you know that "inang" already has a KBBQ restaurant at Tomas Morato, and it's every K-pop fans haven!

Seoul Train was conceptualized by the owners' love for travelling, food, and producing concerts. Once you enter the resto, it really is a subway filled with kpop artists' logos on the windows, slot machines, upcoming Pulp/Kpop concert posters, and on the dining area-- cabin-like of course! Upstairs, there is the Pulp Shop were you can purchase authentic Kpop albums and merchandise-- for your collection.

For the food, we had a chance to try their grilled meats-- Dry Beef Bulgogi, Beef Bulgogi, Yangnyeom Galbi, LA Galbi, Samgyeopsal, Ssamjang Samgyeopsal, Dak Gui, and Bul Dak Gui-- and dakbal (what I ate on the challenge). They also launched their very own Dosirak (Korean bento meals) which consists of your choice of meat, rice, kimchi and fishcake! Definitely love the fishcake. It's not just a resto, it's a kpop lovers destination!

Seoul Train has Instagram-worthy interiors, place, and yes, it is a train-themed restaurant + there's a shop on the second floor for K-pop fans. The dining place is quite small. They use smokeless grill which absorbs the smoke so you won't smell like smoked samgyeopsal after dining here and it's a big big plus in this resto.

They don't have options for unli BBQ like other Korean BBQ restaurants out there but one thing's for sure, you can be sure of the quality meat they are offering.

I like the Tangerine Chicken. It was served boneless, sweet and slightly salty at the same time. Thrle Yangnum Galbi was one of my favorites. There's something with the marinade they used which made it flavorful. The Japchae was okay. Not filling and enough to make you get more. Also, I like how they have Dosirak (Korean Bento Meals) which you can take-out for your own comfort.

The price range is on the higher side.

This is Seoul Train Korean BBQ, oppas and unnis, the resto with the back of a green train for its facade along Sgt. Esguerra Street in Quezon City. Last Thursday, I took a ride with my fellow foodies on a gastronomic adventure during Seoul Train’s #ChewChewThursday Media Event to mark its reopening after it was temporarily closed for renovations at the end of last year.

It was our 2nd time here, this time we brought relatives. It did not disappoint, they asked how I found it because they liked it. One of them even ordered for takeout. We were too full afterwards! Too bad the upstairs had a lot of boxes, we couldn't take pictures of the faux cherry blossom tree. But will definitely come again.
P.S. We definitely like their new smokeless grill setup! No more chimneys overhead where you can bump your head 😉

At first I don't wanna try it coz it's too expensive for someone who's hungry and craves Korean Cuisine but hey! every single penny was worth it! We just ordered 2 samgyupsal (spicy and not) and it was so tender and tastes very delicious. The staffs were very accommodating as well as their boss I think? I will definitely come back here 😊
