Shares a location and staff with Nama nama, which made this review weird. But it's justifyable, since they differ in which kitchen serves food (the place has two kitchens).
I loved my Thai Bagoong Rice (PHP 150). The heaps of satisfying, flavorful rice was there, topped by sweetened pork and green mango shreds. I thought the sweet + sour combination from the pork and mangos was clever! Really made for a multi-dimensional feast!
Also loved the seafood jambalaya (PHP 160) tho I wished half of my toppings weren't processed food (Crab Sticks and Fishballs)
Can't wait to try more food!
Zuppa Cafe has lasted far longer than any of its neighbors. Most restaurants on the second floor of Cybermall in Eastwood have packed up and gone, a virtual revolving door- you don't have the luxury of having favorite dining spots because they inevitably close after a year or two.
Zuppa has fared well because they are not afraid to incorporate changes when needed. The menu has evolved and expanded, and the price range is so forgiving for the employees in Eastwood area.
Feel like rice meals? pho? pasta? a sandwich? Zuppa is your one stop shop.
Favorites include the milkfish steak (super steal at 145p)- super delicious and HUGE serving and Oh Tokyo - a Japanese style bistek rice bowl.
Drop by and try- avoid the lunch crowd by coming in a bit early.
Eversince i've worked here in Cybermall , this is my go to place for a hearty lunch , tried almost everything in the menu - and its all goood .. My faves - salpicao, jambalaya, oh tokyo, bulgogi , and thai bagoong with green mango strips on top , so yum ! .. This is a Must try !!!
