Dunkin' Donuts

This place has enough seats, the area is quite small the type that can get easily packed. Sadly there were not much munchkins, but because of this I was able to take a minute and look at the other food on the menu. I haven’t tried anything from their sandwiches so this is going to be my first time. I ordered the tuna salad croissant. The order was big enough for 40php. It was a little messy when I opened the box. Yes it was big but I learned that some foods are left with small portions para iwas umay. Along 3/4 of eating naumay ako, masarap siya pero parang nakakasawa. And I guess I would’ve liked it better if it was partnered with cucumber.

Early at work so I had breakfast first at Dunkin Donut. It is hard to miss this place because of its bright colors. Had a plain croissant and their regular cold brew. The croissant was very decent and big, buttery, flaky outside and soft and airy inside. The cold brew was not sweetened which I liked but I think they should ask the customer if they like it sweetened or not.

This new branch that opened at the corner of 11th Jamboree and Timog Avenue was somewhat of a disappointment--not because of the food, mind you; I always love Dunkin' Donuts and their coffee, and they never disappoint.

My gripe lies more with the actual place: while it's new and shiny, the entire branch was hot, like the aircons were set on their lowest settings. The facade was covered in glass, but there are no window shades; at around 10:00am in the morning, the sun was streaming into the branch and adding to the heat. It's like the branch wasn't designed for the summer months, and it's practically unbearable to have donuts and hot coffee inside an uncomfortably hot dining area.

[EDIT] More than a month later, I returned to this branch to order some donuts to go; it was around 10:30am and it was already hot and humid outside but surprise, surprise--it was pleasantly cool inside! In fact, it was so nice and cold inside that I just had to order donuts and coffee for dine-in, and I sat right by the glass window. I enjoyed my superb coffee and yummy donuts in cool comfort, and I'm upping my initial rating of 2.5 to 4.0 ... I'm coming back here often from now on.
