So far, your cheesecake are the most delicious one I have eaten~ I have tried other brands but it doesn't even came close to how yummy your cheesecakes are~ I'll always buy to your sm makati branch store as many times as I can manage. :D
Price: $$$
Ambiance: 5/5
Food: 5/5
We've eaten here several times with my family. We always come back for their cheese cups. Kinda pricey for a small cup but surely this will satisfy your cravings. I swear, when you try one you'll come back and want to have more. Would also recommend their cheese tarts. 👍
I've been waiting for a BFF for more an hour in the Block when I passed by Kumori. I went inside the happily-lit bakery.
And as expected, I found myself ordering (I was supposed to have a steak dinner with my best friend) a Cheese Tart, a Sausage Roll and an Original House Blend Ice Tea.
Briefly, the roll was ordinary-tasting, the Cheese Tart extra-ordinary and so was the house blend which had this slight bitter aftertaste that my tongue fell in love with.
I will be back, Kumori.
Interesting collection of freshly baked breads and pastries. Love their mini cheese cake and melon bread the most! 👌🏻
Pricing is reasonable and every bread is unique in their own. Some I find a tad too sweet but nonetheless, still good.
Melon pan! My kids like this the most. Since its kinda crusty outside and soft on the inside. Their hanjuku cheese is also a must try if you like cheesecakes and the fuwari cheesecups. It did not disappoint.
Their Hanjuku cheese alone makes them deserving of a 5 star review. It's heaven in a bite. Delicious would be an understatement. It melts in your mouth and explodes with all the good things a cheesecake can make you feel.
All I can say is love. Everything they offer is really delicious... their breads and drinks are fascinating. I am pastry and coffee person, their products is really remarkable especially the Krone and Cheese Tart they are like taste of heaven for me. The prices for the food is definitely worth it.
Love it ❤️❤️❤️ I just wish they have more branches since I am always craving for their pastries. I highly recommend to try my favorite which is the mozzu chizu pan 🧀
Been here lots of times already since their ambiance is always an inviting sight with all of the hustle and bustle inside malls. Staff are always friendly and eager to answer any queries.
Their krone is always perfect to pair with their lattes or hot chocolate. The serving size of their drinks are fairly big, enough for two people to share. Coffee based drinks are not too acidic, typical of Japanese caffeine beverages.
Their bread is of decent serving size though I would only recommend any bun with tuna and the chocolait au pan (did I get that right?) since both were very tasty for me. For a person with a “lola-like” taste when it comes to desserts, I would not recommend for anyone to get the Caramel crunch cake as it is TOO SWEET. I ordered it thinking that since this is from a Japanese bakery, it would not have the exaggerated level of sweetness (I was wrong 😨):
Overall, its a very homey place for anyone who would want to chill. Recommended!
UPDATE:
We usually come here for the drinks now, not so much on the bread. Serving size is huge and not that acidic.
I love Kumori! I always go here for their breads.
I usually have cereal milk tea, melon pan and custard bread. I decided to have passion fruit coco and pumpkin melon pan this time.
The pumpkin melon pan is really delicious! It's sweeter than the average melon pan, a bit citrus-y and the inside has some sort of filling (I think it's chocolate? but the flavor isn't very pronounced).
The passion fruit coco, as you may have gathered from the name, is coconut juice mixed with passion fruit. I did not like it that much (I actually don't like passion fruit but I just wanted to shock my tastes buds for a change) but if you like passion fruit you'll definitely like it.
You gotta respect the japanese.
There is something common in the way japanese make their food: balance and perfection.
Im a frequent here in kumori and I can say that there is consistency in the products they create. My best picks:
Hanjuku cheese - signature product, 2 bite sized light japanese cheesecake that I recommend everyone to try. Worth the penny.
Original pudding - this is somewhat the japanese version of leche flan but less sweet, smoothness like panna cotta, you’ll remember it before you sleep.
Fuwari - kumori’s new product line, a rich cheesecake on top of graham crust, not ideal for sharing.
