*Pros
The shrimp was so juicy and cooked perfectly.
Buffalo wings spicyness was perfect.
Pan fried fish is very tasty, melts in your mouth.
Fish and frites was also good, but a bit bland compared to pan fried.
*Cons
Mussels were very small. Overcooked, i guess
food and service was superb! i would’ve given this resto 5 stars if not for the amount of single-use plastic they use - plastic gloves, plastic they use for the shrimp. hope they can find an alternative. for the plastic gloves - unless you have skin allergies, just wash your hands and refrain from using plastic gloves. pinoy naman tayo, eating with our hands is part of our culture. for the plastic bags, maybe use re-usable covered containers instead? other than the plastics, great dining experience.👍🏼
always a delight to dine in this place
i just hope they open the drinks liquor to serve with lunch onwards
it’s always nice to take seafood with liquor on a lazy lunch day.
My go-to dish is the Mardi Gras shrimp or mussels! Packed with flavour, the slight spiciness of the chorizo blends well with the seafood. You'll want to eat this with rice, at least 1 or 2 cups :) Their iced tea is a bit on the sweet side though.
Napaka sarap nya. Super worth it kahit may service charge 😂👌🏻 solid yung salted eggsperience and mardi gras 👌🏻 babalik kami dito for sho 💞
At first I thought the price was quite steep, but the serving actually explains the price. We ordered the shrimp in Mardi Gras sauce, fish and frites, poppye greens and extra rice. The Mardi Gras sauce was not as tasty as I expected it to be, but the bits of meat make up for lack of flavor. The fish and frites consist of 4 big pieces of fish and thick cut fries. Overall, I was pleased and would definitely come back again.
We went here for our Valentine's date since we wanted to abstain from meat (Ash Wednesday coincided with Valentine's day). The place was decorated with red paper hearts on the walls and they put white cartolinas as tablecloths, not exactly romantic but it was a valiant effort. We ordered the kani and shrimp salad which we both adored since it was fresh and tasty. We also ordered the shrimp in salted egg sauce and mussels in Mardi Gras flavor. Both were generous portions. The shrimps were cooked perfectly and as an avid lover of salted egg it packed quite a punch! The mussels had a bit of spice due to the chorizo it had it was so good we didn't realize that we were actually eating meat! We wanted to abstain but we were too busy to realize until we ate quite a few already. Service was adequate and we would definitely come back to try their other flavors!
Food was a little pricey, and you have to wait for awhile to get a table. Salted shrimp was the best, coupled with garlic crab! Antihistamine are available upon request :)
They serve the best seafood in a bag thats incomparable to other restaurant with the same concept. One bag is good for 2-3 persons. Shrimps here are fresh and are not overcooked but plump and juicy. We tried the shrimp with salty eggsperience sauce and the mardi gras tahong, both are sooooo gooood!!!. The mardi gras has a nice kick of both spicy and meaty goodness. I love every single food they serve even the fried rice. This is one of the seafood restaurant that would always be on my list. Overall, I have to give a rating of 5.0 since I enjoyed my meal. Waiters here are attentive and price is just right.
