One of my go to places in SM Aura for a relatively healthy alternative. I often just grab their Hummus with Whole Wheat Pita or the Greek Salad rich in Feta Cheese (my favorite kind). I am happy to see a branch nearer my base. It is also the only Greek restaurant in the area of Kapitolyo. On this visit with a friend, I tried new dishes. We got three dishes and paid for two. When you get a main, you get to pick a side of your choice. There are around 16 different ones to choose from. The value of each is around Php 200.
Next to Bokaps (haha) and Haru, Greeka Kouzina is the absolute place to eat at when my hubby and I crave for good food in our neighborhood. We love lamb so this place is great to get the lamb shoulder. The butter sauce was exceptionally good when we ate there yday - maybe improved? The lamb watermelon salad is good but all their salads are naman..The moussaka differed in consistency a bit(the bechamel?/top part) from when we last ate.. but still good! Definitely recommended.

E and K planned that we have our next lunch there but our schedules never seem to meet. Then I was surprised to discover that Greeka Kouzina’s newest branch is just a few blocks away from my office. I am fated to eat there! Luckily, V was open to the idea of visiting the place. So…
Hello, Greeka Kouzina!
Located at the ground floor of D Strip along United St., the place has limited parking slots (which is also the issue with all other establishments in the area). Fret not though as the place has a lot of tables to accommodate more than 20 people. It was a rainy Wednesday night when we visited so there were only a few tables occupied.
Since I’m not so familiar with Greek food, I asked the server for the bestsellers. After being a pesky customer, we went with the following: Hummus (PHP155), Kotopoulo (PHP455), and Beef Souvlaki (PHP495). For our side dishes, we got the Garlic Arugula Pasta and Moussaka. The side dishes cost PHP195 each but you get it for free if you order a main dish.
First served was the hummus. The chickpea dip with roasted garlic and tahini was quite thick and rough. It was a good dish to start the meal as it wasn’t that heavy. Just don’t finish all the pita.
I enjoyed the Garlic Arugula Pasta. I love pasta dishes that are not cream based as it helps me appreciate the other ingredients more. I’m not so sure though if it made my breathe stink afterwards.
The Moussaka was delightful as well. Basically, a lasagna made out of eggplants, this is a must order dish. I love the slight tangy taste from the tomatoes. *yum* I find this quite heavy though so best to share this with someone.
The Kotopoulo was your typical grilled chicken. It was tender and juicy though and had that delightful smoky taste. For the price, the serving was pretty good.
The beef souvlaki was my favorite! It was so tender and savory. Each bite was full of juice and flavor. It made me crave for rice!
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. I’ll definitely order the souvlaki again and perhaps that salmon dish I spotted. (It sure was tough not to order that one!)
Greeka Kouzina, which is in a way like Cyma's laidback cousin, offers bang for your buck. I love their Chicken Souvlaki Salad, generous in serving and with every component served in just the right amounts. The chicken is also tender and juicy. Always great coming back here!
Room for improvement: the Paidakia or the lamb cutlets was just a tad overdone. But it was still flavorful so props still.

To start our dinner, Figroka Salad (Php 395) was an splendid choice. The combinations of sweet figs, sour sun dried tomatoes, salty cheese and bitter arugula mixed so well with its vinegar balsamic based dressing.
Another must have is the Krastes or Pork Chops (Php 595). Am not a fan of Blue Cheese but it blended so well with this tender meat. The walnuts added a nice texture while the gravy adds up more flavor.
Two dishes were delicious, one was forgettable. The Vegetable Pesto Pasta had a weird clash of taste. It was a cross of cream and pesto which didn't jive well together. I didn't even bother forking another one after the initial try.
For me this place has so much more potential than only rival, Cyma.

Almost dined here before. Almost. That's after craving for some hummus but had to leave after finding out it wasnt available.
So here I am again, partly nostalgic, partly excited to finally try this place. As they say, better late than never.
Food:
Fig Roka Salata (sweet figs, walnuts, sundried tomatoes on a bed of arugula and mixed greens) - Move over, Cyma (who is, by the way, always out of arugula), meet my new favorite Roka Salata
Spanakopita (light and 98% fat free phyllo pastry baked with spinach, feta and greek herbs) - This was lacking in flavor and feta
Keftedes (lamb meatballs) - Dry and tasteless
Greek Couscous Salad - meh
Watercress Pasta - just okay, needs some punch
Paidakia (grilled lamb cutlets marinated in Greeka's signature spices) - Now this one I enjoyed down to the bones. Tasty and gamey. Eat with your hands
Arni Lemonato (Greeka's bestseller - 5 hour roast lamb that falls off the bone) - Indeed, I needed only to do a little tug with my fork and all the meat just fell off the bone!
Baklava - layered phyllo with pistachios, walnuts and cashews, topped with guiltless Greek yogurt. This is the bomb! I said I didn't want to order any dessert (yes, I said that! *gasps*) but I finished every bit of this. Anyway, the menu said "guiltless" so there was no need to feel guilty. Lol
Service is a bit slow, parking is limited as expected of the kapitolyo foodie strip. Make sure to come a few minutes before lunch or dinner time. Will be back, again, for the hummus, which was still unavailable at the time.
🐽 Food: I ordered Padaika (lamb cutlets) and it was amazing especially with the sauce! It can be shared for 2 people and just get one of their sides. There are a lot to choose from. Yummy!

It was my first time to eat Greek. Well, I wasn't disappointed when I tried it. Althought the service was a bit slow the staff was nice enough to serve. You gotta try the salad. It's really good espescially the Lamb Shoulder with Mint sauce. Eat it while it's still hot.
Ordered the greek arugula salad and gyros. Well, I'm a sucker for cozy interiors and having a nice ambiance when dining. It's a fine way to enjoy food, right? Good thing for me too because the serving sizes are huuuuuge and we'd get order a few more side dishes 😜 tastewise, you would love try and order more dishes as the textures are kinda refreshing and different for each dish. You get umay if you don't! Overall, this resto's okay 😊
Went here to try their famous Lamb Shoulder and it was indeed satisfyingly good! It was well done but still moist and juicy. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻👌🏻😋
