One of my go to places in SM Aura for a relatively healthy alternative. I often just grab their Hummus with Whole Wheat Pita or the Greek Salad rich in Feta Cheese (my favorite kind). I am happy to see a branch nearer my base. It is also the only Greek restaurant in the area of Kapitolyo. On this visit with a friend, I tried new dishes. We got three dishes and paid for two. When you get a main, you get to pick a side of your choice. There are around 16 different ones to choose from. The value of each is around Php 200.
Next to Bokaps (haha) and Haru, Greeka Kouzina is the absolute place to eat at when my hubby and I crave for good food in our neighborhood. We love lamb so this place is great to get the lamb shoulder. The butter sauce was exceptionally good when we ate there yday - maybe improved? The lamb watermelon salad is good but all their salads are naman..The moussaka differed in consistency a bit(the bechamel?/top part) from when we last ate.. but still good! Definitely recommended.
I have been a fan of Cyma for years. But I have been hearing that there’s another restaurant that serves great Greek food and that’s Greeka Kouzina. E and K planned that we have our next lunch there but our schedules never seem to meet. Then I was surprised to discover that Greeka Kouzina’s newest branch is just a few blocks away from my office. I am fated to eat there! Luckily, V was open to the idea of visiting the place. So…
Hello, Greeka Kouzina!
Located at the ground floor of D Strip along United St., the place has limited parking slots (which is also the issue with all other establishments in the area). Fret not though as the place has a lot of tables to accommodate more than 20 people. It was a rainy Wednesday night when we visited so there were only a few tables occupied.
Since I’m not so familiar with Greek food, I asked the server for the bestsellers. After being a pesky customer, we went with the following: Hummus (PHP155), Kotopoulo (PHP455), and Beef Souvlaki (PHP495). For our side dishes, we got the Garlic Arugula Pasta and Moussaka. The side dishes cost PHP195 each but you get it for free if you order a main dish.
First served was the hummus. The chickpea dip with roasted garlic and tahini was quite thick and rough. It was a good dish to start the meal as it wasn’t that heavy. Just don’t finish all the pita.
I enjoyed the Garlic Arugula Pasta. I love pasta dishes that are not cream based as it helps me appreciate the other ingredients more. I’m not so sure though if it made my breathe stink afterwards.
The Moussaka was delightful as well. Basically, a lasagna made out of eggplants, this is a must order dish. I love the slight tangy taste from the tomatoes. *yum* I find this quite heavy though so best to share this with someone.
The Kotopoulo was your typical grilled chicken. It was tender and juicy though and had that delightful smoky taste. For the price, the serving was pretty good.
The beef souvlaki was my favorite! It was so tender and savory. Each bite was full of juice and flavor. It made me crave for rice!
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. I’ll definitely order the souvlaki again and perhaps that salmon dish I spotted. (It sure was tough not to order that one!)
Greeka Kouzina, which is in a way like Cyma's laidback cousin, offers bang for your buck. I love their Chicken Souvlaki Salad, generous in serving and with every component served in just the right amounts. The chicken is also tender and juicy. Always great coming back here!
Room for improvement: the Paidakia or the lamb cutlets was just a tad overdone. But it was still flavorful so props still.

To start our dinner, Figroka Salad (Php 395) was an splendid choice. The combinations of sweet figs, sour sun dried tomatoes, salty cheese and bitter arugula mixed so well with its vinegar balsamic based dressing.
Another must have is the Krastes or Pork Chops (Php 595). Am not a fan of Blue Cheese but it blended so well with this tender meat. The walnuts added a nice texture while the gravy adds up more flavor.
Two dishes were delicious, one was forgettable. The Vegetable Pesto Pasta had a weird clash of taste. It was a cross of cream and pesto which didn't jive well together. I didn't even bother forking another one after the initial try.
For me this place has so much more potential than only rival, Cyma.
Almost dined here before. Almost. That's after craving for some hummus but had to leave after finding out it wasnt available.
So here I am again, partly nostalgic, partly excited to finally try this place. As they say, better late than never.
Food:
Fig Roka Salata (sweet figs, walnuts, sundried tomatoes on a bed of arugula and mixed greens) - Move over, Cyma (who is, by the way, always out of arugula), meet my new favorite Roka Salata
Spanakopita (light and 98% fat free phyllo pastry baked with spinach, feta and greek herbs) - This was lacking in flavor and feta
Keftedes (lamb meatballs) - Dry and tasteless
Greek Couscous Salad - meh
Watercress Pasta - just okay, needs some punch
Paidakia (grilled lamb cutlets marinated in Greeka's signature spices) - Now this one I enjoyed down to the bones. Tasty and gamey. Eat with your hands
Arni Lemonato (Greeka's bestseller - 5 hour roast lamb that falls off the bone) - Indeed, I needed only to do a little tug with my fork and all the meat just fell off the bone!
Baklava - layered phyllo with pistachios, walnuts and cashews, topped with guiltless Greek yogurt. This is the bomb! I said I didn't want to order any dessert (yes, I said that! *gasps*) but I finished every bit of this. Anyway, the menu said "guiltless" so there was no need to feel guilty. Lol
Service is a bit slow, parking is limited as expected of the kapitolyo foodie strip. Make sure to come a few minutes before lunch or dinner time. Will be back, again, for the hummus, which was still unavailable at the time.
🐽 Food: I ordered Padaika (lamb cutlets) and it was amazing especially with the sauce! It can be shared for 2 people and just get one of their sides. There are a lot to choose from. Yummy!
🍴 Ambiance: Cute lights and flooring!
It was my first time to eat Greek. Well, I wasn't disappointed when I tried it. Althought the service was a bit slow the staff was nice enough to serve. You gotta try the salad. It's really good espescially the Lamb Shoulder with Mint sauce. Eat it while it's still hot.
Ordered the greek arugula salad and gyros. Well, I'm a sucker for cozy interiors and having a nice ambiance when dining. It's a fine way to enjoy food, right? Good thing for me too because the serving sizes are huuuuuge and we'd get order a few more side dishes 😜 tastewise, you would love try and order more dishes as the textures are kinda refreshing and different for each dish. You get umay if you don't! Overall, this resto's okay 😊
Went here to try their famous Lamb Shoulder and it was indeed satisfyingly good! It was well done but still moist and juicy. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻👌🏻😋
It’s my Tai Kong’s Death Anniversary (Great Grandpa) so our family and relatives decided to eat something healthy, a Greek food to name it. The place is exclusive just for us because we’re a big group (65 pax). The staff were very attentive and very courteous. I just don’t like the parking because it’s limited so you just have to double park. So, here’s what we ordered. (Two of each, Family size)
Ø Beefy Eggplant Dip (240php) – Same as hummus but it lacked flavour though.
Ø Olive Hummus (205php) – Hummus is a thick paste or spread made from ground chickpeas and sesame seeds, olive oil, lemon, and garlic. Ohhh yes! Everybody loves it J
Ø Kalamari Tiganito (345php) – Known as Kalamari sprinkled with alatopiperigano. Crunchy and very flavourful. YUMMY.
Ø Fig Arugula Salad (To Share: 395php – Family: 575php) – Sweet figs with walnuts and sundried tomatoes on a bed of arugula and mixed greens. My family is a huge fan of Arugula so they like it. Generous serving of sweet figs.
Ø Grilled Chicken Souvlaki Salad (Family: 590php) – Combination of mixed greens spruced up with raisins, nuts and char-grilled chicken souvlaki. A hearty chicken souvlaki perfectly paired with salad.
Ø Greek Caesar Salad (Share: 295php – Family: 490php) (Add baked chicken: 90php / 165php – Add Fried Kalamari: 110php / 200php) – Their Caesar dressing is made from 100% greek yoghurt and yes it’s fat free! J Enjoy your salad with your choice of fried kalamari or baked chicken. Who doesn’t love Caesar salad, right? Everybody’s favourite, no doubt! We chose the baked chicken as our topping.
Ø Beef Souvlaki (525php) – A delectable char-grilled skewers of meat and vegetables with your choice of siding.
Ø Krasates or Pork Chops (585php) – 2 pcs of yummy grilled pork chop served with blue cheese walnut and Greeka’s signature gravy.
Ø Arni Lemonato or Roast Lamb (695php) – A 5-hour roast lamb that falls off the bone. Very flavourful and tender.
Ø Salmon in Avgolemono Sauce (610php) – Salmon cooked in Greek wine with side of lemon sauce and your choice of siding. I love the lemon sauce!!! :p~
Ø Spanakorizo or Spinach Rice – Rice cooked with spinach, mint, dill, herbs sprinkled with feta cheese. The rice is bland but you know it’s healthy.
Ø Vegetable Pesto Pasta – Vegetables and tomatoes adds to the richness of this creamy pesto pasta.
Ø Moussaka – A grilled eggplant layered with beef tomato sauce and cheesy béchamel. I felt sated after eating this but it was good.
Their Red Iced Tea and Blue Lemonade ohh myyy its TOO SWEET!!! I think they just poured 2 sacks of sugar to our drinks. I tried to refill a glass of water but I didn’t succeed. It’s just too sweet. GRABE.
DESSERT TIME! :p~
Ø Baklava (220php) – Best dessert to end our hearty meal. A layered phyllo with pistachio, walnuts and cashew topped with Greek yoghurt. I LOVE IT! Because I love pistachios J

Eating here during one of those after work Friday weekends with my officemates as we've heard good reviews. Best for me in their menu was the lamb--- it 5 stars! And the dessert...heavenly Baclava!

Satisfying Greek food cravings can be stressful when you’re in Manila, as there are practically two easily accessible places you can get it from: Cyma or Café Mediterranean. So, when Greeka Kouzina opened in Little Baguio at San Juan, Greek food junkies rejoiced in gratitude. Now, a franchise recently opened in Kapitolyo with the same roster of fairly-priced savory dishes served in family size portions. A taste of Greece in Kapitolyo! God definitely exists.

This resto has very eye-catching interiors, the most notable of which are the glass lamps of various colors hanging from the ceiling. The effect is very happy and festive. I'm a bit ambivalent about the food, though. While the lamb ragu and salmon in avgolemono sauce are both interesting and flavorsome, the moussaka had an unpleasant aftertaste.
Lamb ragu u must try but after tasted it become addicted to lamb meat...we have dinner after our water spa at a nearby hotel and decided to try this Greek resto.....
Aside from it's perky yet subtle interior and lighting, Greeka Kouzina tops Cyma with all honesty. All their dishes are big enough to serve 2 people and definitely ones to fill your stomach. My fave appetizer would be their pita bread with the hummus dip spiced into deep perfection; definitely gonna leave you wanting more. They also have a fine salad selection specifically the traditional Greek Caesar Salad which is actually quite big and filling in the best possible way because it is served with greek yogurt and is actually fat free! For the main course, the Lamb Ragu is one to look forward to, its has a rich yet decadent take on the sauce sitting on top of fine pasta noodles. These are just some of the best they can offer, Greeka Kouzina is one to visit anytime you're in Kapitolyo!
I was curious with this restaurant every time we passed by. I finally got to try this one when we decided to have dinner in Kapitolyo. We ordered Lamb Shoulder (Php 580) which was very tender and seasoned very well. We chose oil-based arugula pasta which was relatively good but could be be better if they reduced the oil. The Hummus was also a great starter.
The salads in this place remind me of Baguio salads why because when bite the greens it is sweet and so watery wow and of course cannot deny the generous serving that they give. Oh my gosh and the pork chops are my all time favorite here. It is done perfectly super juicy and very tender. It is hard to perfectly cook a pork chop but this place has it down to a science!:-) I was not able to take a picture of the porkchop because I ate it right away. BTW, the porkchop has two pieces! Enjoy!
Food here is always spectacular! Been getting the fig salad every time because it's to die for!
Major downside though: two Saturday evenings in a row, the kitchen's been unable to serve us three different sidings for dinner because they run out of ingredients (poutine fries, shrimp pasta, and stuffed artichoke). Epically bad for business, guys. Please do something about this!
Love, love, love this place so much! We ordered the greek caesar and fig arugula salads, the beef gyro, the greek couscous salad, hummus, moussaka, pasta, and ribs which were all fantastic! I had an amazing dining experience and I look forward to dining here again!
1st time we had ceasar salad, chicken & lamb - yummy! 2nd time we had gyros & salmon - still yummy! I think any of their entree goes well w/ their pepper rice! This place is starting to become my go-to comfort food.
Value for money. Big serving, especially the salad. Limited parking slots, but you can park along the side walk if ever. Cyma's still better. But on days that you can't splurge on Cyma, this is a good option, haha.
I tried it the first time with my friends and we sure loved it. Everything and anything at Greeka is a must try. Yes, a bit expensive but worth the price. Place was good...food was really great however customer service wasnt that satisfying at all. There was this instance that I asked the waitress how to pronounce a certain dish.. It was "melitzanosala" then she just answered bluntly, "eggplant dip na lang po". I was expecting that she'll tell me how to say it right but that was the answer I got. Crews should be knowledgeable about the dishes that they serve. They werent also that visible like if we need water or extra tissue. I dont know if theyre just timid or what not. I couldve rated this as a 5 only if their customer service was excellent.
The staff was great and courteous, the food was quick (or maybe we arrive as they were opening), and the ambience was okay. We ordered the roasted lamb which is good enough for two (served with 1 siding, where we ordered some pasta with feta cheese, I forgot the name) and ordered an additional siding, the baked mac. The lamb was soft and nice paired with the sour cream (?) that it came with (though my bf like to pair it better with the gravy). For the siding, the baked mac was better, which I think was the reason made us full.
I saw in another table, they ordered the salad which is big and can serve 3-4, looks delicious. Maybe we will try that when we came back and with friends because food here is good for sharing.
The menu could be a little expensive for some, but for servings good for two? Definitely worth it. A great first Greek cuisine experience for me.
This is my first greek experience and it was a great one. The place is very neat and clean and the staff were very accomodating. The price was a bit expensive but the serving was already good for 2 person. I super enjoyed our lamb! Seasoned perfectly and very very very tender. I also had the couscous salad and it was very refreshing! And for the dessert we tried their greek yogurt and their apple pie and both were so good too! We'll definitely come back here!
This is one of the most unique and nicest looking restaurant I've been too! While the food is a little pricey, the taste justifies the price! We tried one of their best seller, the Arni Lemonato (Roast lamb). The serving is enough for 2 or 3 peoples! It taste great! Made me love lamb again! I also tried their spinach rice! The service was great as well! We'll definitely come back here to try their other foods!
My friends and I had our pre-Christmas dinner here and we were really satisfied. We had Pita with Hummus dip, Lamb Shoulder, and Fig Arugula Salad (if my memory serves me right :)). The lamb is just WOW!!! Their servings are big and filling, we even took some of our leftovers home. :D The staff was really accommodating and their service is great. That'll definitely not be my last visit in this resto. Two thumbs up!! :D
Went there on Monday evening. Since we just reached by 9pm, the place only had a few other patrons.
We had the htipiti and melitzanosalata dips which were yummy and came with a lot of pita bread.
For mains we had the Chicken Souvlaki which came with a spinach rice side and beef gyros with an additional moussaka side.
All the dishes tasted great and were well presented. Now there is more choice than just Cyma for Greek food
First time to try here and it won't be our last. We tried the 5hr roast lamb, beef/ lamb meatballs with rice and the baklava with Greek yogurt and honey. They were all very tasty and rich with generous servings. Best Greek resto we've tried in Manila. Looking forward to making this place a regular spot. Staff and service is also great. Only problem is the side order spinach rice is always small.
Accommodating and attentive crew. Thank you for letting us in even before you open. We appreciate them allowing us to wait. Huge salad serving, good for 4-5 people and will remind you of Cyma's rocka salad.
Greeka Kouzina - The place was very inviting. The servers were friendly. The plating was simple yet appetizing. The servings were big enough for sharing. And as for the food, it was YUM! Even their side dishes were big and flavorful. I especially enjoyed their pita with htipiti dip, beef gyro and mousaka.
My first visit to this restaurant and I went in with no expectations. The portion sizes here are HUGE and great for sharing. The portion sizes are generous for the sides and the appetisers too!
The Souvlaki, I had the chicken one was well prepared and flavourful, this is served with a choice of one of the sidings. A wide variety to choose ranging from pasta, moussaka and salads. It is still in the soft opening phase but the food is good. The service staff need to be more confident in their recommendations to help guests order.
I'll be back.
