Jellybeans In The City

Founded in 1985 by Shigemi Kawahara, who has been dubbed The Ramen King, Ippudo is the stage by which the famed ramen chef showcases his “tao” – the way of the ramen. This is centered on the philosophy of continuously innovating to remain true.oduced to him by Chinese neo-Confucian scholar Zhu Shunsui who became the daimyo’s advisor after fleeing the Manchu rule in China and seeking refuge in Japan.
Enough serving for the price 👍
Though serving time was a bit long but sure gonna dine here again
Ramen taste the same as the other ramen house we tried, nothing much to brag about. But everything's good. The ambience as usual is good, the crew were all attentiveness and nice.
Definitely one of the Top-Tier ramen shops around.
We ordered almost every ramen variety they have (Except the mushroom variant) and it's safe to say that the Tantanmen and Karaka ramen stood out the most. Shiromaru is pefect for those who can't do spice or couldn't tolerate the too intense tonkotsu broth because this variant has a creamy feel to it.
The meat is tender, literally no resistance when you bite and it's the perfect texture for me. Like any high-end ramen shops in the metro, you can also customize your ramen to suit your preferences (Noodle texture, spice level, meat part, add-ons, broth intensity etc.) which is a standard but all the more always convenient.
Condiments are available, the place is neat and clean in spite the bustling guests and no ending queue outside. The Staff were very attentive and accommodating (Maybe for the good results in the survey? who knows? lol)
The most negative thing i could say is the price. P495 for a ramen inclines on the more luxurious and pricey. I've tasted ramen on par with theirs that costs so much less so you have to consider this. As a Poor fellow myself, with the abundance of much cheaper options i may not go back here except someone treats me here.
