The French Baker

I have mentioned in my other reviews that I’m not a fan of French baker but since I was tooo hungry a while ago and prefer not to eat Chinese food, French baker it is... we ordered the group meal which consist of 7pc fried chicken, rice, platter of pasta, potato salad and iced tea pitcher & i also ordered beef lasagna. Overall experience was good! Food was yummy. This is the second time we’ve tried the group meal from French baker.

Gusto ko talaga un mga tinapay nila. Love ko rin un mga salad nila, malasa siya and fresh na fresh. I like the clubhouse sandwich and the soup too. I do like there potato chips, lalo na kapag sour cream. And lastly, okay naman ang place and accomodating naman ang staff nila. 😁

Ate here for lunch and ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu. All mains come with the soup of the day - it was Seafood Chowder day. Very creamy, a lot of seafood chunks. Good serving. The Cordon Bleu came with rice, corn and carrots and mashed potato. The Chicken was quite dry, it seemed cooked over high heat as the outside coating was very crunchy. I also ordered the Very Chocolate Brownie. Loved this one!

Awesome BREADS and MEALS. One of my favorite bread store/restaurant. You can never go wrong in choosing French Baker's breads, however their meals are also a must try.

The place is quite small and the ambience is quiet just the way I like, away from the noise of the crowd. The staffs are very attentive.

So let's talk about their dine-in meals. I've tried some of their sandwiches (Clubhouse Sandwich and Chicken Salad Croissant); appetizer (Croissant, Soup and Salad) and main entrees (Grilled Chicken and Mango Salsa and Fish A La Meunier)

An order of sandwich includes potato chips. The potato chips were crispy and it complemented the sandwiches well.
Clubhouse Sandwich was okay. Just the typical clubhouse, nothing special. However, the Chicken Salad Croissant was so good. The chicken spread is a bit bland, but it's okay. The croissant was soft and the veggies used were fresh.

As for the main entrees, an order includes a complementary soup of the day. The soup was good and a bit heavy. The serving was big, enough to fill one's stomach.
The grilled chicken was so good. It was very juicy and tasty. Even without the sauce, the chicken can stand on its own. Also you can really smell and taste the smoke (You know what I mean).
The Fish A La Meunier was also good. It was just the typical fish fillet, but what made it good was its creamy sauce. I think it also included a small serving of mashed potato.
