This place reminds me of Chinese restaurants in the late 90s/ early 2000. Food quality is great. The beef tenderloin Chinesw style is cooked well - meat is tender and drizzled in sweet sauce. The black mushroom chicken soup is on point - chicken is tender and the broth is packed with great flavors.
Service is great, fast and efficient.
This restaurant is one of the favorites of a dear friend, Kash. In fact when we went, some of the staff there recognized her. This establishment has likely been here for years (based on look) and they serve Hotpot like no other.
It starts with a checklist of type of soup, vegetables, meats, seafoods, balls and other add ons. Be careful checking too many like we did because portions are quite generous. We barely finished what we got. It was good for 4 or more.
We got clear and satay as soup based. They can half the pot for it. We got Angus Beef as our most expensive add on at Php 270. It was tender and well seasoned but it wasn't our favorite. The Mushroom Balls were clearly the best one with its tasty and soft texture. The other balls we got, Lobster and Shrimp were not as impressive.
The vegetables were fresh and green. One of the ones we got was spinach, my favorite and it was evidently new from its color. For seafood scallops were a steal at Php 150 for its portion.
The first round of satay is free but you'll likely get more like we did. It was so good. Just add Php 60 for another serving. On too of satay, I suggest adding raw egg with it together with soy sauce, ginger and some chopped chili.
This place also offers Seafood and other Cantonese cuisine classics. They serve it in sets and ala carte.
