When I over stay outside to food blog, eventually I had to compensate this by eating in the office to catch up on work. Recently, I had one of the best mainstream Pinoy tapa around, Rufo’s.
It’s Rufo’s Tapa over rival, Tapa King any day. Their recipe gives you abundant flavors, and their beef evidently more tender.
I also had Embotido, its overall look and taste similar to a bigger longganisa. I liked its hint of spice of soft center.
My third order, Tinola for only Php 120 was value for money. It had three cuts of chicken, served the traditional way. This one reminded me of my childhood days.
There are surrounding considerations im writing sbout this review and have categorized them according to the following:
1. Food Quality
- overall Rufos is a budget food resto focusing on a cheap price yet delightful taste of filipino homemade style food. They are not as high quality as the ones i have tasted yet they offer a distinct taste of filipino dish served within a budget. For a price like Rufos charges, they are good and sumptous and id say quality was never compromised.
2. Timeliness of Delivery
- They are on time when they delivered the food as the food store is within the area.
3. Availability and Accessibility
- this is the only reliable store who accommodated my food order request in late hours. Kudos Rufos for that.
4. Quality of Service
- Meals are packed neatly and the delivery guy was very polite.
Good place for late night/early morn bfast.
We tried the bulalo, which is not bad for the price. The pic does not do justice to the bulalo since most of the good stuff is submerged.
Also tried the tokwa without baboy. Very healthy n quite tasty too.
Quick service no frills place
