The ambiance of the Lobby Lounge at the EDSA Shangri-La is very welcoming and also relaxing. It’s good to spend your time here while waiting for an event. Good environment for chatting with your friends since tables are quite far apart.
I ordered the Laksa noodles as an afternoon snack and it was good. The soup was more coconut-y and the generous serving of toppings and noodles made me quite full.
Menu is on a tablet so you can see their efforts in helping the environment 👍🏻
First time I’ve been here was with my husband. We came from a party and wanted to have a quick nightcap. Very intimate place. Staff are so accommodating and attentive. Price is not so bad. Comparable to other decent dating place. Food taste good too. Nice to be here also with friends.

I love Edsa Shangri-la because it's near home and my favorite Chinese restaurant is luckily in this hotel so I m pretty frequently to this place!
FOOD:
I generally love their coffee and since I held my client meetings here, I invite them here. I often order Cappuccino and my father orders caffe latte. Their beauty is during serving, there are 3 distinct phases visible starting from milk at the bottom, followed by expresso coffee and then foam at the top.
In theory, Cappuccino has less milk with more foamy texture and latte has the opposite. The coffee amount remains the same in both and that's what I clearly saw at Shangri-la.
They maintain this throughout and it brings confidence to the brand.
The price of a Cappuccino and Latte are P255 each and there's no price difference.
Every time they serve the coffee with complimentary almond crusted vanilla cookies. Heavinly!
AMBIENCE:
I often prefer sitting near the window where there's a wonderful view of the hotel's garden which has fountains, flowers built. Sometimes when you are tired, I can look at my side and feel a bit relaxed.
Additionally, a pianist and a violinist are often seen playing wonderful classic compositions like the famous Titanic song etc.
SERVICE:
Cordial, helpful, smiling. That's what makes the whole experience wonderful!
I recommend everyone to try Lobby Lounge at Edsa Shangri-La.

My favorite place when I'm meeting someone or any of my friends that lives from the north since I'm a south kid, Ortigas is like the halfway. I love their cakes here and they have a surprisingly cheap tea, it's like around 200+ but of course the high quality is there. The staff are one of the friendliest I've ever experienced. The ambiance is so classy, the interiors are classy. It's just pure luxury, which I really love.
A great place to enjoy your cup of coffee and hold meetings.
I had their Asian crunch salad which honestly tasted so weird, the dressing is absolutely salty and the components of the salad itself does not work together. It's priced at around 500+
I also had a scoop of their mint chocolate chip ice cream that I absolutely adore.
The food is not that spectacular per se but at least the servings are big so you still get full.
Their set up has a very chill ambiance with live music.
Enjoyed my Black Tea (Rose with Vanilla) in this establishment. Complete with cookies, milk and an assortment of sugar.
There's a live band playing different genre of music that'll surely entertain the guests.
The view is amazing. There's a beautiful garden out by the window.
My first regular dinner here though I've been here many times for coffee and burgers.
We were quite happy with our choice of Beef Steak Tagalog and Mee Goreng. The former was pricey but the beef was top class and the sauce was good too. Mee Goreng was quite tasty too.
Cherub's Cup cocktail of Tanqueray gin with elderflower topped with champagne was good and the Mojito was good too.
If there was one word that I would associate with the Lobby Lounge, it would be Nostalgia. My family and I used to enjoy a few drinks here, and this place was where I had my first Mai Tai, my very first cocktail! I enjoy the classy, cool, and relaxing atmosphere while the place is adorned with beautiful furniture, relaxing lights, and has a lounge singer who would sing to you from 9pm until a little past 12 with a line up of 3 sets of lounge music. I should also mention that it smells really great too as the hotel has this unique and pleasant small that would make you want to escape from the world outside. A definitely good place to chill. There are days that I go here to enjoy a pot of tea with friends or indulge in a wine buffet with canapes, and cakes to choose from. Truly a comforting place. I just wish the staff would be a bit more friendly.
Very fancy, comfortable and perfect for relaxing with a friend or someone special. It's pricey but reasonable. They serve mainly beverages, some pastries, and also snacks. The service takes 10-15 minutes but it's okay since they offer a free high speed internet to chill & browse social media while waiting for your orders.
We arrived at midnight after an event. I haven't had a chance to grab a bite to eat yet. Surprisingly, the Lobby Lounge is open for 24 hours and it's a good place to talk animatedly without disturbing your neighbors. However, despite our timing, the Lobby was 3/4 full and they only had 4 people accommodating the patrons. We had to approach them to be seated and then approach them again to order. But as always, their service is really good and they seem well-poised despite serving a huge number of people lounging. I ordered the BLT which is really good and had large portions. They even give you your individual Heinz miniature bottle of mayonnaise and ketchup. One of us left her lipstick and they gallantly rushed to us while we were waiting for our car outside. Great service! I would definitely be back!
