Tbh, I didn't expect much about the place but Mr. Choi Kitchen really surprised me with its food and service.
Went here an hour and a half before their closing to grab a quick dinner with my boyfriend. We ordered the roast duck noodle soup, yang chow fried rice, and the platter (i forgot the name) that consists of hakaw, siomai, etc.
I was amazed by the tenderness and reach flavor of the roast duck noodle soup. It was really tasty that I finished the whole bowl. I also tried their hakaw and yang chow which is super delicious. The hakaw is not dry and the rice is flavorful.
I hope I can go back real soon to try the other dishes 💕
Their white baked seafood rice is really good. Every time I visit this resto, that’s what i order. It’s also good for 2-3 people. You don’t need a viand if you’re not willing to splurge much. I also ordered hot prawn salad. It costs around 400. It’s good and sulit but a bit too sweet (it also has cucumber) because it’s already a lot serving compared to Din Tai Fung, which Is the best prawn salad I’ve had but cost me 395 php which is like half of the serving in Mr. Choi.
The wanton brisket beef noodles and soy chicken are really good. Nothing special about their dumplings- siomai and hakaw, taste like a generic dumplings, aside from its pricey.
Staff are attentive and accomodating.
