Affordable best tasting food in Rockwell ?
You'll keep coming back to experience everything on the menu.
The food the staff are ok....kip it up!
This restaurant serves really good Filipino cuisine. Always full and packed with people. Great food and reasonably priced. Will go back here for sure.
Its a Daza restaurant. Filipino dishes at its best. Though its small serving . The fiesta rice is great . My favorite is the adobong kangkang wd lechon kawali and the stuffed pechay and the pandan crepe. My first rendezvous with wooden spoon is the one in katipunan always full pack .
4th time dining here!!!
Affordable place in Rockwell.
Crab pancit for the win tho its a bit oily.
Fried chicken is just so-so.
Sisig is pure of chicharon only.
Will come back again for the crab pancit!
As you can see, I recommend this restaurant for those who love Filipino foods and their cuisines. Service is great, food is also great as well.

This is one of my go-to places before with my younger sister. This resto champions Filipino dishes that are just simply irresistible. Mapapa-kanin ka sa sarap!
This time, we just had a few dishes: pork sisig, crab pancit, and wooden spoon crispy chicken.
The crab pancit as always, is crispy and definitely savory. The crab “sauce” is a concoction of crabmeat (or crabstick hehe), seafood shrimp flavoring, and creamy egg. The blend just gives you that yummy flavor that keeps you digging for more.
The crispy chicken was tasty, a bit on the sweet-salty end, although it wasn’t really as crispy as I would expect it to be, since it was named “crispy.” The pork sisig was delicious, it wasn’t even fatty. Most of the sisig was crispy. Basta it didn’t feel unhealthy.
Not during this dining experience, but our go-to dishes which I suggest you try would be: boneless crispy chicken (it’s like crispy chicken katsu), ginataan sigarilyas with daing (their version of gising-gising), and crispy adobo flakes.
Will definitely go back. Also, their prices are truly affordable. Serving is for 3-4 normal pax, 2-3 for matakaw people like me. Haha!
The garlic bangus was very good. Stuffed pechay was good too, the ground pork and smoked fish sruffing was flavorful, and the curried coconut milk sauce complements it. The dinakdakan was eh; should have been more spicy, more ginger, and more evenly coated/tossed with the sauce.

Filipino food with a twist! I have always wanted to try but their Katipunan branch has limited parking so was delighted when they opened in a mall. Try the crab noodles for starters, gising gising, monggo, dinakdakan are also crowd favorites. Note they don’t accept credit card, only cash, so make sure you bring some so you won’t wash dishes after
Big servings. Kare- Kare and Lechon Kawali is a thumbs up! very Filipino taste. Price is also very affordable. Each order is enough for 2 persons. Ambiance and relaxing, you’ll feel at home.
The food experience in Wooden Spoon was overwhelmingly good. If you're craving for Filipino dishes with a twist other than Manam and Sarsa, this a nice place to go to. :)
My favorites would be sinigang salmon belly, bistek tagalog and that crispy noodles with salted egg!! Crispy chicken, dinakdakan and adobong kangkong are also worth a try! Definitely going back! :)
