The atmosphere was nice. Their selection of music is nice also. And the area is spacious. The service was quick. The food was great. Sinigang na baboy was delish as well as the lumpia shanghai and the tuna belly which was really, really good.
I'm not a fan of their crispy pata but damn their tuna belly is soooooo good. Can't go wrong with this one. The gambas is okay, I've tasted other versions that are way better
Awesome traditional filipino food. Your go to restaurant if you have friends/families visiting the Philippines. The service is good. The food is as expected. Very affordable.
Gerry's food always great. Packaging was
complete. Food was well prepared and tasty.
Would order more next time. They now offer
sets which provide more value.
However, I ordered a second time and meat
was not cooked thoroughly and not much
meat in it. Mostly bone. I hope next time we
get value for our money.
Location is a bit secluded but area is quite big and spacious. Food and service is ok.
Ambience is best for groups of friends and nice for chilling out with beer and beer matches.
Gerry’s Grill is our favorite place to go when craving for local filipino food ❤️ Their big servings are really worth the price, especially their beef kare-kare paired with their bagoong alamang. Something you must try and you’ll surely crave for more!
Went here with my friends. I really loved their big servings. It's worth the price. The taste of their lumpiang shanghai is mouth watering. A place to relax and hang out 😍😍
To be frank, I dont visit Gerry's Grill too often so I can't compare it with different branches. The restaurant was scheduled to open at eleven, but unfortunately we found ourselves being seated 15 mins past the assigned time. The service was polite and prompt and the overall atmosphere had a homely feel to it so its quite suitable for family gatherings. For the ulam, we ordered the spicy wings, pork sisig, beef kare kare, sinigang na baboy and bangoose. The wings were pretty plain, nothing much to write about here. Good for a light snack but I won't recommend it. The pork sisig was pretty good. It had a unique taste to it. Its a great dish to serve for a family sized gathering and while I do recommend the dish, I personally found it a bit salty. The beef kare-kare was also quite satisfactory. If you're craving kare-kare then the dish would do well to sate your appetite. The accompanying bagoong naturally complements the dish well. Moving forward we have the pork sinigang. I admit I'm quite picky when it comes to this dish as its a staple among filipino dishes but quite a few number of cooks tend to fall short of my expectations, however this branch did an excellent job in meeting my standards. The pork was tender and it had an ample supply of greens to go with it. The most important part, the soup, had a satisfyingly sour taste to it. A must for sinigang on my part. I found it a bit salty, but its negligible. Lastly on the list we have the bangoose. Initually I was hesitant to order the dish as I was doubtful of the serving size, but it did well to overcome my objections. It had a good amount of belly father and was cooked to perfection. All in all I'd give this a rating of 4/5. ☺️
Gerry’s grill is definitely a good place to try some local Filipino food. We went there early because Gerry’s Grill has a chance to be full packed especially on friday nights and weekend. Ordered Nilagang Bulalo and Chopsuey. The bulalo is a must try because they have the authentic taste. It has beef and some veggies. The food is good for sharing. I also enjoyed chopsuey. Both food have big servings that’s good to share. This restaurant has only 8% service charge, 2% lower than other restaurants.
I always liked the vibe this specific Gerry's branch gives off; it's casual dining at it's best. The chaos of the place, the loud sound system, and the large displays from the flat-screen television sets somehow constitute to a leisurely type cacophony that one may want to experience while digging in to house specialties such as their Sizzling Sisig, and Sizzling Gambas. 😋 If there's one thing I've noticed, it's that their sisig seem to have developed a different taste, and texture. It's obvious that they have taken out the chillies just to appease those who prefer their sisig without a spicy kick. As for its texture, it's now on the mushy.l side. 😕 What's unsuspectingly impressive however, was their Chilli Cheese Sticks! 😋 It was super cheesey! 🤤 As a true cheese lover, I can tell that the cheese they use isn't something that could be bought off the shelves of any supermarket. It was uniquely creamy, almost runny. And though I clearly could've eaten with the seeds, and all it's spiciness, I still enjoyed it seedless; creamy, cheesey, and a little bit fiery all at the same time. 😋 The waiting crew was impeccable, and I wasn't stuck with one server, as all of them took turns to attend to my needs, and I cannot complain. 😊
