Partying with your friends, yummy food, drink all you want, and dancing the night away. Best of all you just book the place and the great staff will take care of it.
I attended a private party there. The place is cozy and the set-up was awesome. It had a HK vibe to it.
Frequented here during a two-week training for a new job. Must say almost everything they offer is good. The only bad dish and experience I had was when I ordered Crispy Tadyang Strips. I think the crew forgot about my order and I had to wait for 45 minutes before it was served, apart from it, the beef pieces were very tough. I can't tell if it was because the food was prepared on a rush.
But for all other instances, food was great and service was very commendable.
SIMPLY DELICIOUS~!
Since 2012, The Moment Group Company (TMG) has been known for creating unique and different restaurants around Manila. During this year, they opened their first ever restaurant called “Cue Modern Barbeque”. After three years of the opening of the first restaurant, TMG has grown to 10 brands and has a total of 26 outlets. Along with that, The Mess Hall is one of their restaurants located at Pasong Tamo Extension on the ground floor of TMG’s central kitchen in Makati City.
The Mess Hall is known for its great and modern Filipino Cuisine. It is significantly scaled down and plated into comprehensive and individual portions. Their best selling dishes are Pork Sisig who’s just as crunchy, cookies are just as tasty, and their tapa who is just as saucy. But what struck me the most is their sisig. Sisig is one of my favorite dishes in Manila and I have tasted it in almost all the Filipino Cuisines, but Mess Hall sisig stands out the most. It’s very crunchy, and flavorful that will make everyone like it. When it comes to dessert, they have different kinds of cookies, but what I loved the most is oatmeal cookies because of its rich and tasty ingredient.
I can’t help but to look around the restaurant’s ambiance while I’m eating in Mess Hall. The restaurant is a modern cafeteria with a very spacious area, chairs and tables that are made up of wood, and surrounded by glass windows which will attract the customers’ attention for its unique set up.
Its prices for food ranges from P150 - P370 and are not really affordable for students but is affordable for workers who are working in the building. Despite the price, their dishes are presentable and very inviting which makes them want to eat in Mess Hall again. Mess Hall is a cozy place where you can bond with your family, friends and colleagues.
Upon walking inside the restaurant, I noticed that Mess Hall is a self-service restaurant like ordering food in the counter, getting your own utensils, and getting your own water. Fifteen minutes after I sat down, a guy with a black hair arrived with our order while smiling and said, “Ito na po order niyo. Enjoy your food!”
I would strongly recommend The Mess Hall by TMG because of its great and pleasant taste dishes. I recommend you to try their best selling dish, pork sisig and their cookies. It might be a little expensive for a student, but I will assure you that you’ll come and eat in Mess Hall again and again. Not only that, the ambiance is also relaxing and cozy which will make you enjoy every taste of your food. Unlike other restaurants, some staff are rugged to their customers, but here in Mess Hall, the moment you open the door, the staffs greet you, and welcome you with their wide smile.
Ang sarap nung kansi!!!! Saan resto yun galing? I don’t think Manam. Ang sarap talaga. Di ko makimutan. I’ll be back for sure to eat that Kansi!!
I was here last week for a media meeting with some of their foods on buffet. Sisig and sinigang na short ribs and watermelon were the stand-out foods for me, perfect for that gloomy weather on that day
It's my first time here and all staff are accommodating. The food is great! The Sinigang Beef Short Ribs with Watermelon may taste different at first since it's a little bit sweet, but I like it! Big parking space outside.
The Mess Hall
I got invited by a former colleague to TMH to catch up on things. It has been ages since we last saw each other. And , it is always refreshing to reconnect with friends.
The Mess Hall started as the cafeteria and test kitchen of the Moment Group. Now, it is open to the public for lunch till 5pm on weekdays. It is predominantly Manam menu but it has a sprinkling of items from 8 Cuts, Linguini Fini (which was recently closed to give way to Manam presence in SM Mega Fashion Hall) and Bank Bar.
We ordered the signature Beef Short Ribs Watermelon Sinigang and Longganisa on Garlic Rice. We had the house iced tea for drinks.
The Watermelon Sinigang is my absolute fave. Using it as the souring agent gives you a bit of familiar yet refreshingly new flavor territory. The short ribs are fork tender and carries the broth taste together with that of well-seasoned beef. The hot soup is a joy to sip with its calming and soothing stroke as it passes thru my throat (especially, now that I have colds and it's itchy). I suppose the combination also has vitamin C with the fruit and veggies.
The Longsilog is a stylized version of the favorite Pinoy breakfast and will surely break your fast once you get a taste of this. The longga comes skinned and super crispy circling the steaming garlic rice with a perfectly runny fried egg in the center. There's a liberal sprinkling of parsley and chives. Uber comforting yumm!
I don't get why this restaurant have low ratings here. Place is spacious, went here at lunchtime, not really crowded. Self-service: pick your order from the paper then go to the counter to pay. Tried their adobo garlic pasta because it sounds unique. It was delicious, though serving is not that many. Nakakabitin pag for one. Items are a bit pricey, too, but will definitely come back to try more. Also tried the long black coffee, there was this citrus flavor. Not sure if long black coffee is supposed to taste like that, and also tried the cookie with nutella and it was also delish.

Tried their sisig pansit and kare kare. Three words: TO DIE FOR. One must try these A.S.A.P.!!!
Place is a bit crowded during lunch time. Food is of good quality but a little pricey and the servings are not that huge. I recommend their Sisig and cookies.
This place can get so packed during lunch hours. Ended up ordering my third choice of dish since the first two were already sold out. Their cookie was really good.
Perfect place to eat if you want a quiet and peaceful ambiance and super delicious food. Love where is located eventhough the area is very traffic. The sisig has always been the best. the cookies are a must try!
